Park Seo Joon May Join “Captain Marvel” Sequel
Actor Park Seo Joon is rumored to be entering Hollywood after reportedly being cast for The Marvels, the sequel to 2019’s blockbuster Captain Marvel.
Park Seo Joon will join Oscar-winning actress Brie Lawson in the sequel and fans are excited to see the actor in the Marvel’s successful film franchise that grossed over $1.13 billion dollars at the global box office.
According to South Korea media network Star News, the 32-year-old actor was invited to join the cast early this year, and will travel to the United States in the second half of the year for shooting. His role in the sequel has not been disclosed, and his management agency declined to comment on the rumor.
Park Seo Joon shot to fame, and gained an international following after starring in South Korean dramas What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and Itaewon Class. The actor’s charisma and refreshing image caught The Marvels‘ director Nia DaCosta’s attention as she called the actor her “TV boyfriend” on her social media.
The busy actor is currently filming for two South Korean films, Dream alongside IU, and Concrete Utopia alongside Lee Byun Hun. Due to his busy schedule, Park Seo Joon is unlikely to rest before preparing for his Hollywood debut.
