Park Seo Joon Takes Break from Filming “The Marvels” and Returns to South Korea

Park Seo Joon was in London earlier to film The Marvels, which marks his first foray into Hollywood, and the second time a Korean star was featured in the Marvels universe since Don Lee in The Eternals.

A source told Korean news outlet StarNews that The Marvels was originally set to release at the end of next year, but it has now been delayed to 2023.

The 32-year-old actor was sighted recently at Incheon International Airport.  Due to the change in the filming schedule, Seo Joon has returned to Seoul to complete other jobs that he has lined up.

He posted a new photo on Instagram and the background seemed to be within a film set, and it looked like he was at a photoshoot for a brand he endorses. It is not known when he will resume filming for The Marvels.

After Seo Joon was confirmed for The Marvels in September, curiosity over the actor’s role in the movie and what his chemistry would be like with Brie Larson grew. However, his management agency issued a statement to taper growing speculations, “We are aware that everyone is very curious about the name of the work, the character, the filming location and period, but we can only announce these details at a later date. Please continue to support Park Seo Joon!”
