Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik Reunite in “Doctor Slump”

South Korean actress Park Shin Hye is reportedly gearing up for her next project after welcoming the birth of her baby boy in May of last year. Titled Doctor Slump, Park Shin Hye will be joined by Park Hyung Sik and the two are preparing for their first script reading.

The drama follows the lives of doctors who find themselves in a slump and end up quitting their jobs to live in a rooftop house. The drama is directed by Oh Hyun Jong who previously worked on Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and Find Me in Your Memory and is helmed by screenwriter Baek Sun Woo who’s previous works include What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.

Park Shin Hye plays a doctor who has had enough being unfairly treated by her medical professor. Park Hyung Sik plays a popular plastic surgeon who overcomes pain and trauma after being involved in a medical accident. The two characters were classmates and then became neighbors while comforting each other’s pain.

While many fans are excited to see Park Shin Hye’s return to the small screen, they are also looking forward to seeing Park Shin Hye reunite with Park Hyung Sik. The two previously worked together in 2013’s drama The Heirs and fans are excited to see the growth of the two artistes.

  1. Her third Doctor role? Or more, I dont remember anymore… But good to see her back on screen. May not be one of the best actress but I have watched she growing up as a little actress…thus a soft spot for her.
