Park Shin Hye Announces Pregnancy and Marriage with Choi Tae Joon

Korean actress Park Shin Hye and actor Choi Tae Joon make a surprising announcement that the couple is expecting their first child and will be getting married on January 22, 2022.

The star couple met while studying drama and theatre at Chung Ang University and started dating in 2017.  While the couple were often photographed going on dates, the couple kept a low-profile on their relationship and rarely talked publicly about each other.

Park Shin Hye’s agency confirmed the good news and revealed that the couple is currently busy planning for her wedding. Revealing details of Park Shin Hye’s pregnancy, the agency shared, “While the two were getting ready for marriage, a previous life arrived. During this early stage of pregnancy, we are asking for your understanding as it is not convenient to discuss the specifics around the situation.”

The actress also wrote a letter to her fans via her official fanclub and revealed that she is nervous to share the news. Asking for her fans’ support, Park Shin Hye wrote, “I will be marrying my friend that I have been seeing for a long time. He is a source of support and has embraced all of my shortcomings. It is still early, but I want to share that a new life has come while preparing for my marriage. Thank you for all your support and love even though I am lacking in many ways. It may take some time, but I promise to return as an actress and show my best image as soon as possible.”
