Priscilla Wong Shares That Natalie Tong Has Many Pursuers

Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) and Frankie Lam (林文龍), who star as leads in the currently airing drama, Life after Death <那些我愛過的人>, attended a promotional event recently. Although the drama did not receive a lot of hype initially, the ratings were surprisingly good.

On whether Frankie has been paying any attention to the online discussions about the drama, he expressed that he does not like participating in social media. He added, “Working with younger actors has allowed me to learn more about the Internet. My daughter is very good with it, so she helps me with whatever I need to get done online. She’s like my little secretary.” He shared that both his wife, Kenix Kwok (郭可盈), and daughter, Tania Lam (林天若), are fans of Life After Death. “When children see their parents on screen, they of course would be very excited.”

Many also praised Priscilla’s realistic portrayal of a single mother in the drama. She said, “I really did not expect this type of response. So many colleagues at the station are tuning in. They all said that they are seeing me differently now. They’ve approached me to give hugs and encourage me! My husband [Edwin Siu (蕭正楠)] is also tuning in even though he is busy with work. He would re-watch the episode when he returns home from work.”

When asked to comment on Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Roxanne Tong’s (湯洛雯) budding relationship, Priscilla expressed that she and Edwin already guessed it, but “didn’t say anything and wanted to let them announce it on their own! Edwin would notice that Kenneth would come visit on set and said he was looking for him, but Kenneth’s eyes were always wandering away and never on him! I am happy for them and wish them the best. They are a great match!”

On whether her good friend Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) is upset about the new relationship, Priscilla shook her head and said, “Of course not. It’s better this way too, because then you guys will stop putting their names together! Actually, Natalie has a lot of pursuers. I told her to take her time and choose the right one. Everyone should stop imagining about her moods and feelings. She’s doing well!”
