Raymond Lam Admits Going on Dinner Date with Karena Ng
Raymond Lam (林峯) was photographed having a dinner date with 18-year-old film actress, Karena Ng (吳千語), on July 21st. Appearing on TVB music program, Jade Solid Gold <勁歌金曲> yesterday, Raymond put a stop to tabloid speculations about his romantic involvement with Karena. He claimed that other friends were present when he had dined with Karena.
Raymond and Karena became romantically linked after filming Love is…Pyjamas <男人如衣服> together. Aside from their purported dinner date, Raymond, Karena and the Love is…Pyjamas cast had gone to a karaoke bar earlier. Tabloids even published photographs of Raymond allegedly running away from the paparazzi when he was caught “red-handed” on his date with Karena.
Countering tabloids’ claims, Raymond remarked, “We had dinner together with a group of friends on that day. I realized that a reporter was following us, but the resulting news report was very funny. They said that I was running away [after discovery of the date], but who has seen an artist run rapidly towards a reporter? At the time, I was running away from the pouring rain!”
Asked whether he will have a chance to develop a romantic relationship with Karena, Raymond said, “We only had dinner together. I did not think too much. I will prioritize my work first.”

The pubic was still reeling in shock from Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Myolie Wu’s (胡杏兒)breakup announcement yesterday. Raymond expressed his own shock, “I have known both Bosco and Myolie for many years, but we do not see each other frequently in private.”

Jayne: No doubt, Raymond will likely not admit a relationship with Karena, even if it turned out to be true. However, the photos do show him ushering Karena into a taxi and their surprised looks throughout the photographs. Raymond and Karena’s body language did not seem at ease, unlike a friendly group gathering that Raymond purports.

She denied through her manager before him and he followed her words. Guess that both dun want to reveal by now. Thinking tat they are in first stage as they have just met in April to now (July). Hope when it comes to next step, they will admit.

I dont blame her for hoping for a chance. Who tell LF is that famous in HK , lolz. And since he dated a China model, someone can wish to be the same, I dont find it’s weird at all. I think they are at the early stage of getting to know each other. Not officially dating yet. So I don’t see what’s the big deal whether or not he admits it. Like he said he’s still thinking and deciding. So I say to stop wondering until it’s official.
They look like a compatible couple and I would not mind if they are dating! Hope the reports about Karena being a simple girl with a pure personality to be true to some extent because with Raymond’s fame, he can be quite complicated, haha. Simplicity suits him! 🙂

It will be difficult if LF has to act 18 or in his early 20s just to conversate with the girl. The girl is way too young for him in term of mentality wise..unless LF is a big kid in real or else, he will find himself babysitting a young girl everytime he hangs out with her.

You seem to know a lot about LF… do you really think he and Karena are dating? Or is it publicity for their new movie? I have a weird feeling that Karena’s “the one”. Yeah, I wish she were older, but she seems pretty mature in her interviews and certainly looks like LF’s ideal type.
Karena is definitely his type but now with the new movie, I’m kind of afraid that they are under free promotion for both movies.

Wow, the plot thickens! I really, really hope this works out for LF. Karena does not seem trashy at all and I’m sure his parents will approve of her if they are in a relationship. She also doesn’t strike me as terribly ambitious so she might be ready to marry in the next 5 – 8 years. Crossing my fingers that this rumor is true!
