Raymond Lam Holds CD Autographing Tour, Will Star in New Dramas Next Year
Raymond Lam (林峯) didn’t want to stop work after completing his three-day Hong Kong Coliseum concert earlier this month. Although the 36-year-old has already completed the promo tour for his latest EP Trap, the actor-singer insisted to use his remaining time to hold autograph sessions for his fans, as a gesture to repay them for their unwavering support.
Raymond started his Trap autographing tour in Hong Kong on May 8th. He then moved the tour to Mainland China, holding autograph sessions in different Chinese cities every Saturday and Sunday. On May 14th, he traveled to Zhongshan; he went to Foshan on the 15th, and then to Shunde on the 22nd. He will stop by Chengdu and Xiamen in the remaining weeks.
Raymond said, “I honestly don’t know how many stops I have left. I just hope that I can get to as many cities as I possibly can before I head back into the film studios. I really want to thank every single Honey [name of Raymond’s fans] for their support.”
A report said Raymond had signed an average of 1500 albums per autograph session. It’s exhausting work, but the staff said Raymond still manages to keep a large smile on his face at the end of the day.
Now that he has completed all the required jobs for his album release, Raymond said he will return to the acting industry. The actor shared that he has recently picked up two dramas, one which will start shooting this summer.
He explained, “It’s been a long time since I last released music. I said I would use the next year or two to focus on music. Now that I’m done with that, I think it’s time to get back into acting.”
Although done with music for the time-being, Raymond said he plans to continue his Heart Attack concert with a world tour. However, he would not have time to tour until 2017.
