Raymond Lam Shoots 1,000 Photos for New Music Album
After delivering concert peformances in North America, Raymond Lam (林峰) was back in Hong Kong, appearing at an advertising awards ceremony yesterday. The hunky 32-year-old indicated that he will continue to focus on his music career this year. Raymond had taken more than 1,000 tantalizing photos for his upcoming music album, in which some of the photos will be without clothes!
In the last two weeks, Raymond Lam and guest star, Kate Tsui (徐子珊), had performed at mini-concerts in the United States and Canada. He appeared refreshed and tanned after his travels overseas. In January 2013, Raymond will once again perform at the Hong Kong Coliseum for the fourth time. This marks EEG’s aggressive marketing strategy in continually placing Raymond at the forefront of its artist lineup. Raymond has collected valuable onstage performance experience, performing to sold out concert crowds in Macau, Australia, and North America earlier this year.
After recording several more songs, Raymond’s new music album will be ready for release. The music album will feature more than 1,000 photos of Raymond. Raymond will appear clothed in some photos, while stripping tantalizingly in others as a special reward for fans!

Jayne: Did anyone attend Raymond Lam’s June concerts in Atlantic City, USA and Canada? Would love to hear the concert feedback. From recent video clips, Raymond’s dancing skills appears to have improved.

My buddy went to the one in Canada and loved it. She is a big fan of Raymond and took many photos.She hopes to go to the one in HK too.

Yes, I was there(ATLANTIC CITY),it was nice with his singing & dancing,fans were absolutely wild when every time Ray came down off the stage ( 3 times).The show a bit short than I though ( only 2 hours), the show start at 1AM ,don’t know why? He is good live performance!
Really? I heard my buddy say that the concert in canada was 3 hours long.
Yeah,It was suprising to me when the encore song come up ,maybe late start time they are tired ….still enjoy !
I personally went to his concert in Toronto as I am a huge fan of LF’s and went to support him. The concert was 2 hours long and was supposed to be a mini concert of his last Light Up My Live concert that was held in HK last summer.
He was really rocking the stage and the lights along with the dancing made the entire stage light up. He truly wanted to interact with his fans as he also came down from the stage a few times but was mobbed by all his fans who were eager to touch him or snap photos of him.
It was an amazing concert and he is a great performer!
Chinese concerts at AC are usually from 1-3 AM.
Why is that? It is such a crazy time slot to hold a concert when everyone is practically asleep during this time. I don’t understand why they would do that. His concert in Toronto started around 8:30 to 10:30pm.
Its just East Coast U.S. thing. Prime time for Asians to watch their idols.
They do late concerts because they won’t have jet lag when they go back to hong kong. when it’s 1-3am in the US it is 1-3pm in hong kong time. well from the east coast time. it fits there schedule not the fans. cuz they know that fans will go no matter what.
Well, that depends on the concert organizers, Some have double shows during the morning hours just to fit ther time.
It is typical for asian performers to start after Midnight in the casinos, just to adapt their “time” change.
But wouldn’t that affect the concert sales as this is a time where people are normally sleeping?
Saturday nights are usually when people go out, party, etc. so staying up till 3 is pretty normal. Also, casinos give away complimentary concert tickets to their high rollers to draw them in, so the casinos actually hold most of the tickets.
In my area, concerts that are held are usually on a Saturday or at times a Sunday since they know that people would usually go on weekends due to school or work.Therefore,I found it strange that a concert was being held on a weekday. Would people that worked or went to school take a day off??
I wonder if Raymond will include a big photo album of all the photos? Otherwise, I really don’t know how he will include all of those photos in his new music album. It will probably be included in his special edition version or something.
Well, the only photos we really want to see, are the ones of him w/ no clothes! 😛

No, not all. Everytime he took a lot of pix for the photobook, but only 30-50 pix are chosen to be printed out and included in the album. So this time won’t be an exception.

Hahah that’s what I was thinking. It should about the quality and not the quantity. And good photographers should be able to capture what they’re looking for in less than that.
I’m living in the same house with a pro photographer and he said that you have to take at least 100 pix to find out 1-2 good one :). That’s why the pro photographers will snap thousands of pix each time.
Maybe Mr. Lau sponsored the photo shoot before he goes to jail. That old guy is definitely a volume shooter.
I think they will just pick and choose the ones that they like to include in the album right? It would be great if he included a photo album as a bonus gift with the special edition version of the CD.
All of his albums have a photobook, small or big :P. Lucky that he dun have much special editions or limited editions of albums.
I was talking about an actual one and not the lyrics booklets. But then again, I don’t buy all his albums so not sure if they all have a photobook or not. Yea, not all of his albums have a special or limited edition version. I told my friend that since she is a big fan of his and tries to get the special or limited editions of everything of his. However, I told her that not every album, concert or whatever has a special/limited edition.

I wanted him had some pictures many of undressed. i watched fung concert in AC it was amazing.
Looks like Raymond Lam and his crew fix him up from the Borgota concert in Youtube.
I know Kate Tsui is his special quest. Did she sing well? Looking at the youtube clips, she did good on dancing.
Her singing was only average, not the best but she danced really well to the fast song that she sang as well as to Raymond’s songs. I do have to say that she’s quite pretty in person.

Since he just returned from 2 concerts in North America (Toronto and Atlantic City), I highly doubt that he will have anymore concerts in the US in the next little while. He will probably return in about 2 years time to hold another concert because that seems to be the trend over the last few years as I missed him the last time he came to Toronto in 2010 and he just held his 2012 concert a few weeks ago. You definitely need to go as his concerts are amazing!
We have lots of concerts here in California and artists from HK, Taiwan and everywhere come a lot, so there is a good chance that Raymond will be coming in the future…

A lot of his outfits that he wore were from his HK “Light Up My Live” concert last year. Since this was a mini version of that concert then that is why he wore them again.
I WAS AT THE AC CONCERT, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD I REALLY ENJOY IT… WISH HE WILL COME BACK TO AC MORE OFTEN… FANS WERE CRAZY FOR HIM… WISH HE WAS SELLING HIS CD’S SO FANS CAN GET TO TAKE PICTURE WITH HIM….
I saw the vids of his Toronto and US one and thought that both Ray and Kates’ dancing was very sloppy and didn’t put too much effort into it.
I wasn’t there at the concert in Australia but it was a few hours long because there was only one concert in Sydney. There was another long concert in Melbourne. Only those two places…
