Raymond Lam to Bring Karena Ng Home?
Two days ago, TVB stars Raymond Lam (林峯), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) flew to Seoul, South Korea to record the star-studded TVB Lunar New Year Gold Celebration <TVB新春黃金慶典> gala show. Collaborating with other television stations in Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei, the concert also featured guest appearances of many K-pop idols, including hit girl band SISTAR,SS501 member Park Jung Min, boy band U-Kiss and ZE:A, as well as girl group Jewelry.
Raymond, who has just completed his three-session Hong Kong Coliseum concerts earlier this week, remained in great shape to perform his dance numbers. Linda also performed George Benson’s hit single, “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You.”
Currently rumored to be dating 19-year-old actress Karena Ng (吳千語), Raymond can finally put down his former rumored dating past with Linda. The ex-rumored couple stayed close together and was very chatty throughout the night; Linda expressed afterwards that it was because it had been while since she has last seen Raymond.
Both Raymond and Linda were excited to be able to perform alongside many popular Korean stars. Raymond exclaimed that he is very impressed with SISTAR’s lead singer, praising her confident and steady voice. Raymond also revealed that he was once invited by Hallyu stars, Big Bang, to perform at their Nanjing concert last month, but due to schedule conflicts, Raymond turned down the invitation.
Raymond further disclosed that he will be returning to his hometown, Xiamen, for the Lunar New Year. He explained, “My younger sister gave birth to two BBs, so I will be going back home.” Asked if he would be spending the New Year with his “BB,” Raymond laughed, “Of course! I will go wherever my family goes.” Asked if he would be spending the New Year with Karena Ng, Raymond replied vaguely, “I will be spending it with my relatives and friends.”
So is Karena Ng a relative or a friend? Raymond immediately said, “Don’t ask me this! I am wearing headphones right now. Now I can only understand Korean!”

I think many have already said everything previously. And Edison did not only date someone that young, but he photographed them like porn stars. Maybe Ray does the same thing but at least it is kept private.
Anyway imagine if Ray has such a reaction as this poor AKB48 girl who just so happened got caught spending a night with her boyfriend;

AKB48 girls have the vows (rule) of no-dating, hence Mii-chan’s incident is serious (like few girls before) and she is punished to Trainee group again (she is in AKB48 group first generation). This is why she has to do such thing to save herself once again. Plus, Japan is strict in these vows like that.
On the other hand, I will laugh out loud if LF does so. He isn’t an idol and he isn’t teenager at all. It’s too over-dramatic for him to do so and it dun suit HK style as well.
I doubt that he’ll take pix of the girls like porn stars. Last time, he only slept with mouth opened and a sweet kiss at max. Nothing else. Maybe he isn’t a porn watcher/addict or he dun watch porn everyday to like to do such thing. Uhm, I wonder if Nancy banned camera before?
Pffft. The Western media should do more research instead of leaving out certain details… She’s not just part of any old group – she’s an IDOL. Even Johnny’s have this stipulation of no dating (although females do tend to get it worse than males when such a scandal breaks out). And the number of articles I’ve read outside of Japan calling this a “sex scandal” or Alan her “boyfriend” is just lazy writing… she simply stayed overnight. Infer what you will from it (and from her apology), but don’t spread the news like it’s confirmed. Funny how most articles failed to mention the response from the male side (and conveniently leaving out the fact that Alan is managed by LDH/Hiro from EXILE).
It’s a publicity stunt. They have pictures of her posing (with the shaved head) with other AKB members and she’s smiling and everything. Also, they put the video of her apologizing on youtube with the comments turned off.
They’ve done stuff like this before.
I saw the photo of her with other first generations as well, but I wouldn’t be so quick to judge. They were there for support. Is she not allowed to be happy? Would people rather see her in tears and a constant low to prove her point? Heck, I’ve been to a number of funerals before; one minute we’re crying, the next we’re trying to crack jokes and lighten the mood. Who knows, some of us probably cried ourselves to sleep that night.
I’m not surprised they turned off the comments on Youtube considering the amount of bashing and stupidity that goes on amongst netizens. Take Tokyohive, for instance…
Alls i’m saying is, you’re not coming off as very sincere if you shave your hair for atonement one minute, and then the next you’re the centrepiece of a group photo, double peace sign and smiling.
If anything I’d tell my friends NOT to take a picture of me and my bald head because I’m supposed to be sorry about something.
I get what you’re saying. I just think, why release that photo in the first place if it was all an act? The photo was originally uploaded via another member’s Twitter account and was probably to reassure the fans she’s doing fine.
Anyway, I just find it sickening that she’s on the receiving end of such humiliation. Real or not. Some fans need to pull their heads out of their own arse and realise they don’t own their idols, and (idol) agencies need to stop interfering with their artists’ lives. Utterly stupid that some Johnny’s cannot marry unless they’re granted permission (even though some of them are pushing 40…). But that’s the life of an idol and you know what you signed up to.
The idol industry is a very exploitative industry where there really aren’t any morals and the driving point is making money off otaku fans’ delusions and fantasies.

Vincy Yeung was 14 when she dated EDC but since it’s the legal age in where she lived, it’s still ok. To me, as long as it isn’t illegal, not a big deal. 80 can date 18, it’s their own business.

Jay fung , alfred , adason, wu hong kuan had the potentials…but they do not have the full package like LF. If Bosco ,Ruco or Ron can excel in his vocals , he might have the same criteria like LF.
Among Jay Fung, Hubert Hu, Adason Lo and Alfred Hui, I rank the voice as: Adason > Hubert > Alfred = Jay. But I like Jay and Alfred the most :P. They have the charm but need to practice more.

People need to know a word’s definition before using it like “scandal” to describe the incident of Ray dating Mavis. So what it was revealed to the world. They haven’t done anything wrong. Both are single and are free to do whatever they want without having to tell others or the world about it. So now the same thing with Karena. So what if they are dating or not. So what if she is 19. She has the right to do what she wants. Is not like Ray is 50 or something. All you critics need to step back and stop judging others so much. Like with the Edison case. I think he is scum to be taking all those pictures. But the bigger culprit are all the girls stupidity and allowed him to do it. My parents are 10 years apart. Haha. Theyre very happy and still are. Then again, it was common for girls to marry young and coupled up with older men so I guess the past was more into the norm with these things. Shrugs. But I dont think age matters as long as love, and sometimes commitment is enough to make a relationship stable and happy (:

LMAO What? BIGBANG don’t even have guest performers in their concerts. Also, BIGBANG are not gonna have a concert in Nanjing. They’re just one of the many performers invited to perform at the 2013 Samsung Blue Day Festival in Nanjing. LOL Lam Fung

I’m not surprised if YG entertainment did ask LF to show an appearance. YG is one of the very intelligent companies in South Korea. LF + Big Bang…that’s powerhouse.

I think they are both using each other to promote themselves. Raymond is trying to promote his concert so he isn’t to bother about the news. Like the industry say, having news is better than not having any news at all. Karena is trying to boost her popularity by using Raymond since she is not well known yet. Raymond is not responding properly is either a) it is all true that is why he doesn’t want to say much b) leave the media to their own imagination so there will be more news on him.

Ray trying to use big bang? No. Big bang is popular in korea. They are trying to gain more exposure in other asian markets thus the purpose of world tours and concerts. Ray mentioning big bang inviting him could be true as ray does have a foundation of Chinese audience which would draw uninterested big bang fans to the function thus the latter gains more exposure.
As to why raymond said the wrong info could have been a straight out mistake since his manager is the one who handles invites and all. Maybe he was too busy and heard wrong. Who knows. Could be anything..but use big bang? For what? To gain korean fans?
