Raymond Wong Stays Home Unless He Has Work
A student of the Tai Shing Pek Kwar martial arts style, Raymond Wong (黃浩然) recently attended the memorial service for his grandmaster Chan Sau Chung (陳秀中), who passed away earlier. Raymond was originally scheduled to attend a promotional event for Forensic Heroes 4 <法證先鋒IV> at the same time, but he decided to attend the memorial instead out of respect for his grandmaster.
Raymond reminisced, “He was a very humorous person and was in very good shape. When he was 70 something, he was still able to do back flips!”
Forensic Heroes 4 received a spike in ratings this week since the drama aired its finale on March 27. He shared that Selena was unable to join promotional events, as she just returned from Canada and needed to self isolate for 14 days. “By that time, she should be able to join our celebratory dinner!”
Reporters asked if there will be another sequel but Raymond confirmed that he has not heard any official confirmation yet. “I know many people are talking about it. The style of this installment took on a more serious tone to show the professionalism of forensic scientists. If we have a sequel, I hope it will take on a more comedic tone. I hope to show a different side of myself to the audience, and people would benefit from something light-hearted at this time.”
He was asked for his thoughts in regards to the Hong Kong government’s intention to restrict operating hours and ban the sale of alcohol in restaurants. Raymond said, “I am not a restaurateur, so I’m in no position to comment but I’m sure this is bad news for people that own restaurants. I hope that the pandemic will pass soon. Other than work, I have been staying at home. I’m especially careful as I have children at home.”
