Raymond Wong’s Wife Expecting Second Child
Yesterday, Kent Cheng (鄭則士) disclosed on his weibo the good news that his “son”, Raymond Wong (黃浩然) and his wife are expecting their second child this April. Since filming When Lanes Merge <情越雙白線>, Kent and Raymond have developed a close friendship with each other, and Kent has become a respected elder in Raymond’s life.
There is a saying that good news must be spread and it is with great happiness that Kent posted on his Weibo that Raymond is going to be a father a second time round. Raymond’s manager confirmed the news and revealed that the excited father is already on leave in preparation for his new bundle of joy in April. However, the gender of the baby is still not known.

When the well wishes poured in, Raymond responded on his Weibo, “Another new member will join our family very soon! Thank you everyone for your blessings! I wish everyone a happy Year of the Snake, joy with their families, and health and happiness!”
Raymond added, “Also thanks to my ‘father’ Kent Cheng for his bountiful dinner last night. As an important figure, you revealed my good news!”
In an interview last year, Raymond shared his parenting style. Not only does Raymond play a caring and responsible father onscreen, he is the role model for his son, 2 year-old Kayden. Believing that spanking is not the solution to good parenting, Raymond strives to set a good example for Kayden. Whether is wife is carrying a boy or girl this time, Raymond will continue to be an involved and responsible father.

In other celebrity parent news, Angela Tong (湯盈盈) is due to give birth to her daughter next month. In their November wedding, Angela and her husband, Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂) revealed to their guests they are expecting a baby girl.
Fast forward to February, and it seems her daughter’s marriage partner has already been decided! A regular guest at her good friend, Toby Leung’s (梁靖琪) house, Angela and Toby’s nephew, Preston has formed a bond, so much so that Toby joked that she and Angela may go from becoming good friends to relatives, as Preston loves to hug Angela’s tummy each time they meet. A few days ago, Angela even joined Toby’s family at Disneyland to celebrate Preston’s 4 years old birthday.

Congrats to Raymond and his family!! It is great that he and Kent are close in real life since they had great chemistry as father and son on screen. Kent seems to have chemistry with everyone he acts with which shows what a great actor he is.

I always think that Raymond Wong act very good…but…not promoted to very top actor…well life is never 100% fair…as long as his is happy and have a happy family…best wish!!!
He is promoted, and very promoted. He is the leading actor in many productions now. How promoted you want him to be?! He’s married, with a child and another coming, yet he is promoted. He is the lead in all productions he is in or co lead. How much more?
Yup…he’s definitely promoted….it just might not feel like it because he’s not constantly ‘in the news’ like other TVB actors are (starting to get sick and tired of reading about the same artists over and over again). He keeps his private life (and even work to some extent) ‘low profile’ and stays out of the limelight by choice, which to me is very admirable given how hard it is to do so in the HK entertainment industry. That’s why I’m not surprised at all that no one knew his wife was pregnant again…
