Rebecca Zhu Denies Dating Wealthy 2G
Less than six months since allegedly breaking up with boyfriend Matthew Ho (何廣沛), recent talk has emerged that actress Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗) is getting close to rich 2G, Kenneth Shi Ho Ming (史昊洺)! Claiming that he is just a friend, the 35-year-old said that she has no suitors presently, adding “If I had any (suitors) to choose from, I wouldn’t have to choose work!”
Spotted Vacationing in Thailand?
According to a tip-off, Rebecca has gotten closer with Kenneth Shi, son of HK entrepreneur Allen Shi (史立德), who is well-known among local elite circles and an equestrian sports lover and horse owner. Active in social circles himself, the tall and good-looking Kenneth is one of the city’s most eligible bachelors. Talk spilled that Kenneth and Rebecca started getting closer since last year, and were said to have vacationed in Thailand together. A photo taken earlier where Rebecca belly appeared to be protruding has even circulated talk of a possible pregnancy.
Contacted by the media, Rebecca admitted to being introduced to Kenneth by mutual friends, and having chatted and gone out together, but denied that the two were any closer than friends. Dismissing talk that she was pregnant, she laughed, “This is even more ridiculous, I had just worn heels to an event a few days ago,”
Clarifying dating rumors, she shared that all her friends are all girls, and that “many of them already have kids”, while adding that there is no need to explain further on pregnancy rumors as “there’s nothing” to begin with.
Alice Responds to Rebecca’s Pregnancy
Earlier revealed to have moved into a million-dollar “feng shui” mansion in Sham Tseng to improve her career luck, Rebecca mentioned that she is focused on her career at the moment and will not give further thought to other matters. When reporters phoned Kenneth Shi, he abruptly hung up after uttering a few “hellos”, and did not pick up further calls.
Known to be a friend of Kenneth, Malaysian actress Jacqueline Chong (莊思敏) said she only knew that Rebecca and Kenneth were friends, but not any more of their current status as she has been busy and hasn’t met him in a while. Praising Kenneth as one of the most eligible bachelors in town, Jacqueline said, “I don’t have a chance with him, but hope that he can find a compatible girl!”
Meanwhile, actress Alice Wai (陳煒), a good friend of Rebecca’s, jumped to her defence and shot down talk of the latter being pregnant by sharing a photo of herself and Rebecca vacationing in Sabah, Malaysia, saying “We even had lots of fun in Sabah, so what’s the pregnancy talk about!”
