[Style] Red Carpet Looks at the Taipei Film Festival
The 2020 Taipei Film Festival wrapped up its week of events today with an award ceremony and star-studded red carpet event, the first of its kind in the world since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. Check out some of the nights’ best looks below:
Chiling Lin (林志玲)
The A-lister opened up the ceremony with a sparkling pink gown that illuminated the stage. Chiling married Japanese artiste, AKIRA of the pop band EXILE, in June 2019.
Ariel Lin (林依晨)
The A Choo <打噴嚏> actress presented conservatively with a peep of skin on the red carpet.
Janine Chang (張鈞甯)
Janine looks confident and happy in her new pixie cut.
Ivy Chen (陳意涵) and Roy Chiu (邱澤)
Both Ivy and Roy chose to wear black tonight like Ariel. Ivy’s gown is conservatively black with a flair of the dramatics.
Cheryl Yang (楊謹華) and James Wen (溫昇豪)
Both Cheryl and James look handsome and sophisticated in their own ways.
Sandrine Pinna (張榕容) and Rhydian Vaughan (鳳小岳)
Sandrine’s pale dress blends well with her own skin tone. Rhydian continues to don his signature look.
Wu Kang Jen (吳慷仁) and Ivy Yin (尹馨)
The actors showed up in matching pale attire, adding more life to the red carpet.
Phoebe Huang (黃嘉千)
Unlike her peers, Phoebe opted to wear high-waisted trousers.
Annie Chen (陳庭妮)
The ombre pattern of Annie’s dress is one of the more unique looks of the night.

this will not be happening anywhere else in the world for a few years.
Nah, the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards was held in Korea last month, so I wouldn’t say this is the first awards show since Covid-19.
