Regina Ho Announces Pregnancy

Getting married in December 2023, Regina Ho (何依婷) announced she was five months pregnant yesterday. Although her belly was protruding, Regina remained in great shape and her limbs were still slim.

Wearing five-inch high heels to a mall event, Regina used scissors to cut the event ribbon which were traditionally taboo for pregnant women. Regina explained she put on her heels in a safe environment and she did not abide by these traditions and would cut open packages and fruit at home. She has no plans to reduce work after her pregnancy, “I have an event tomorrow. Although my husband is very nervous, he still gives me a lot of freedom because he feels the baby will be healthy if I am happy.”

This year marks Regina’s first wedding anniversary and she did not particularly plan for pregnancy. “This is a present from heaven. I was filming a dance scene for Golden Forest <金式森林> when I found out about my pregnancy. The morning sickness was particularly bad in the beginning; I couldn’t eat anything and my stomach was so bloated. I was still filming at the time and I couldn’t let anyone know, so I had to run out secretly to vomit. The distraction from filming helped, but it was hard when I returned home.”

Previously sharing some bikini photos from her trip to Ko Samui, Regina said, “Taking in the sun is good for the baby’s health. I told my husband to make sure I look skinnier in the photos, but he said pregnant women have no waist so it’s hard to take a good photo.” Regina will take pregnancy classes with her husband and undergo a C-section next year. She has not decided how many children to have yet.

Posting a photo of her ultrasound on social media, Regina wrote, “A three-person trip to Ko Samui. We are thankful for the baby’s arrival–this is the most precious present from heaven. After going through the miraculous journey of pregnancy, I can’t wait for you to become a healthy, plump, and fair little baby. Thank you to my husband for your care, allowing me to do the things I love and providing infinite support for my work or play. You allowed me to become a happy little pregnant lady. After becoming pregnant, I’ve experienced all the hardships that mothers go through. I wish everyone good health, you’ve worked hard. I hope our baby will grow up well and safely.”

At the time of the TVB Anniversary Gala, Regina went on vacation as there were no suitable performances due to her pregnancy. Regina hoped to participate next year.
