Regina Ho Announces Wedding Plans
Yesterday, TVB actress Regina Ho (何依婷) dropped big news on social media and announced her upcoming wedding plans. It came as a surprise for the heavily promoted actress to choose marriage at this time, causing many to speculate whether Regina may be pregnant.
Entering the industry after winning Miss Hong Kong 2017 first runner-up, Regina snagged her first leading role in the remake of A Love of No Words <十月初五的月光>. She had an enviable opportunity to work with Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Kenneth Ma (馬國明) in upcoming Anniversary series, The Queen of NEWS <新聞女王>.
Spotted going on dates this summer in Guangzhou, Regina has known her boyfriend since university. Praising him for being a highly ambitious and hardworking man, Regina admitted they promised to marry each other just after three months of dating.
The couple shot their wedding photos in Paris, which holds special memories. Regina wrote, “Paris–the first time I was here as a student, I was still young and innocent. I fell in love with this romantic city and made a wish that I would come back with the person I love in the future. Thank you for making my dreams come true. Say yes to my love, best friend, and soulmate.”
Keeping the celebrations simple, Regina shared her wedding ceremony will take place before Chinese New Year. The actress is not sure where her wedding will take place, but wants to keep it small in size. “We’re happy as long as we’re together. It doesn’t matter if we have a honeymoon or not–we’re both the chill type.”
When asked why she decided to get married so suddenly, Regina explained, “It’s not really that sudden. We’ve known each other for years and our end goal is marriage all along.”
Asked if she is pregnant, the actress dispelled the speculations. Despite this, Kenneth Ma congratulated Regina and jokingly urged her to quickly have children. Charmaine Sheh, Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), Crystal Fung (馮盈盈), Samantha Ko (高海寧), and Alex Fong (方力申) also gave Regina their blessings as well.
