Relationship Lines in “Flying Tiger 3”
Since airing on February 21, Flying Tiger 3 <飛虎3壯志英雄> is off to an explosive start. Although the franchise is known for its adrenaline-charged scenes with continuous gun fights and drifting cars, Flying Tiger 3 also has a tender side with romantic storylines.
Ron Ng‘s (吳卓羲) character is deeply attracted to Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) and continues to pursue her after facing rejection multiple times. However, he needs to get close to Elaine Yiu‘s (姚子羚) character to investigate his case.
During filming, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) had to film a bed scene early on when they were not familiar with each other yet. Jeannie felt very awkward and due to her inexperience, Bosco gave her some tips on how to make the scene more natural.
The supporting characters also have complicated relationship dynamics. Appearing to be taking advantage of each other, Oscar Leung (梁競徽) and Kelly Fu‘s (傅嘉莉) relationship has a tragic background and continues to give them heartbreak.
Eddie Cheung (張兆輝) and Alice Chan (陳煒) play a couple who is on the brink of divorce.
Joe Ma (馬德鐘) is in a loving relationship with Coco Chiang (蔣怡), who is a dancer who gives up her dreams for family and suffers from a hidden disease. Michael Miu (苗僑偉) will have a relationship with Joe’s much younger sister, Rebecca Zhu(朱晨麗).
