Ron Ng, Bosco Wong and Michael Miu Share Their Supernatural Encounters
Since the airing of Tiger’s Talk, hosts Christine Ng (伍詠薇) and Bob Lam (林盛斌) have gotten their guest stars to spill juicy stories about their filming experiences. In the latest episode, Ron Ng (吳卓羲), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Michael Miu (苗僑偉) shared their supernatural encounters that left them shaking in fear.
Ron’s Spooky Encounters at TVB Artiste Lounge
When Ron was filming Find the Light <英雄·刀·少年>, he tried to save time and slept overnight at TVB’s artiste lounge. At around 3 a.m., Ron woke up and was disturbed by what he saw. “Sometimes it’s harder to sleep when you’re tired. I was staring at the door, and suddenly I saw a ‘little kid’ walked in. The door was not open. It was closed.”
Since all artistes under the age of 16 must leave TVB’s studio by 11 p.m., Ron thought it was odd to see a child in the lounge and felt scared. To confirm that he was not imagining things, Ron immediately asked the colleague next to him, who also confirmed seeing the “little kid.” The two startled artistes were in such a shock that they closed their eyes, counted down, and ran out of the lounge.
The same lounge proved to be unlucky for Ron, as he experienced another haunting incident at TVB Studios on a separate occasion. That time, Ron saw an artiste beside him suddenly sit up and murmured in a voice that did not belong to him. Suspecting his colleague was being possessed by a spirit, Ron felt exasperated, “At that time, I thought, ‘Brother, I am only here to film!’”
Bosco Ran Out of Hotel Room
Among the guests sharing their ghostly stories on the talk show, Bosco had a supernatural encounter when he went to Malaysia for work. Upon inserting his room key into his hotel suite, Bosco noticed that one of the lights in the room did not light up. While bodyguards noticed something was strange and refused to enter the room, Bosco did not know any better. When he walked into the room, he immediately felt uneasy and was startled when the unlit light suddenly came on near the bed. He was so spooked, he hurriedly left the room without his luggage.
Michael Miu Paralyzed by a Spirit
Haunted hotels seem to be common, as Michael also had a similar experience to Bosco. After filming for an entire night, Michael checked into a hotel in Malaysia. While trying to sleep, he kept hearing some strange sound coming from the toilet which kept him awake. By 4 p.m., a shadow appeared over Michael’s body and it paralyzed him from moving. Frightened by the experience, Michael asked his bodyguards to stay in his room with him.
When he woke up the next morning, he found his bodyguard missing. When Michael tried to turn his body, he felt that a spirit was paralyzing his movements again. To make matters worse, Michael saw an old man staring at him from where the bodyguard was originally sitting. With no one around to help, Michael started saying prayers until he could move again.
Speaking with his bodyguard later, Michael discovered that his bodyguard also felt an invisible force on his body. The mysterious force applied so much pressure that his bodyguard’s calf even swelled up.
Aside from being frightened, Michael, Bosco, and Ron’s experiences left them perplexed by the inexplicable circumstances.

supernatural encounters, something i hears quite a lot from celebrities but rarely from real life people. the only one i’ve heard it from is my uncle when he got drunk.
@m0m0
Really? I have plenty of stories that I can tell you that I heard from my family members.
@hetieshou
do you feel that they are trustworthy or just trying to scare you or perhaps simply superstition? you got to have to experience it yourself otherwise, quite difficult to believe that they exist.
@m0m0 I’ve personally experienced it a number of times in my life. Also in my line of work, we stay at hotels a lot and my different coworkers always have their own experiences as well. Honestly, it’s a great thing you have not experienced anything. Some people are just more sensitive than others so feel stuff more. A lot of it has to do with a person’s chi or energy. The better your energy, the less susceptible you are to these experiences.
@m0m0 And also, to your reply to @hetieshou … while I don’t know this user personally, I feel like this is a subject a lot of people feel scared to even talk about and it doesn’t get brought up often. That’s probably why you haven’t heard anything from people you know. But I bet if you ask around, someone will have some story to tell. Why would anyone make up anything deliberately just to scare you? We’re not in a campfire and trying to scare each other, know what I mean? We are adults just chatting. So I doubt people would make things up just for the sake of it. And even if someone does make their story up, I doubt everyone is lying. So there must be some truth to it. Just my analysis.
@gnomageddon
I am definitely not saying that people r lying. I do believe that these stories r real however, has another possibility been sought? I just think that pointing directly to supernatural just because of we can’t explain it is quite lazy. There has been many uncover ups. I don’t doubt that supernatural exists but the claims are all too exuberant.
@m0m0 I get what you are saying. But what if it’s unexplainable? I think the natural thing for people to do when they experience something weird, is to find out where it’s coming from. Like for example, you hear a noise. I’m sure most people would go look and investigate a little. But what if you’ve done so and you found nothing yet the noise persists? Stuff like that. I think most stories people hear and also what I’ve encountered are a lot less dramatic than maybe what you are referring to. I have never heard of anyone telling me nor have I experienced anything super crazy like a chair flying thru a room or stuff like that. Lol. Those I believe are probably more likely to be fake and made up. But everyday real stuff is a lot less dramatic. Just unexplainable small occurrences.
