Ron Ng Halts Work After Father Dies From Cancer
Ron Ng (吴卓羲) was hit with grief while filming in Mainland China when he learned of his father’s deteriorating health condition. Ron confirmed the news that his father passed away last night as a victim of cancer. He had immediately returned to Hong Kong to see him for the last time.
After his father’s passing, Ron decided to temporarily drop his work in Mainland China . He revealed he would be spending more time in Hong Kong with his mother to give her comfort.
Ron reportedly had a close relationship with his father, and the two were like old friends who could chat about any topic. He did not wish to provide further details of his father’s situation. “My father passed away last night. However, I don’t want to talk about it!”

I never knew that Ron was close to his father since I always heard about his mom but not his dad. My deepest sympathies to him and his family and hope his family pulls through this difficult time. May his father rest in peace.
