Ron Ng is a True Brother
Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and Ron Ng (吳卓羲) go way back. Close friends for nearly twenty years, Ron was one of the groomsmen at Tavia’s wedding last year. Having debuted together in TVB, these two best friends are pretty much inseparable.
Tavia’s husband Him Law (羅仲謙), who has been working in turbo mode to earn milk money, is staying in Mainland China for the month. Without her husband around to help her out, Tavia is reaching out to all of her friends for some extra arms.
Earlier this month, at around two in the afternoon, paparazzi spotted Tavia leaving her home in Tai Po, driving to another one of her houses in Tseung Kwan O. She parked in a residential garage and proceeded to unpack all the cardboard boxes in her trunk. She then carried a heavy box to the main lobby, where she met up with her manager. When she left, Tavia saw the paparazzi and greeted them.
With Him still in the Mainland, Tavia is calling up her strong male friends to help her do some labor work. A few days later, paparazzi spotted Tavia, Ron, and her manager meeting up for some afternoon tea. Ron helped Tavia carry her heavy bags as they entered the hotel lobby. The two friends were in happy spirits, and laughed together as they emptied out the trunk of Tavia’s car.

You know how well liked/loved Tavia is when the media doesn’t even try to give this a negative spin. Bet if this was another actress, media would have a field day and portrait her as “tau sic.” xD

@jjwong I was thinking the same thing! I could see this easily getting twisted if it was another person. Albeit, Ron and Tavia’s friendship is well known and pretty solid, and both are very close to their manager.
I mean Tavia did have a couple negative news throughout her career, but overall she gets relatively less crap from the media than her peers, especially relationships-wise.
@dandan Yea, I can only recall two “scandals” about her. One is when she was caught head down on Him’s laps in the car. She held a press conference a couple days later and the whole world was defending her innocent. Everyone’s waterworks were running. That was more of a scandal than the actual scandal itself lol. The second is during SSSS series where a few news outlet made fun of her insanely high nose. That was very short lived though.
The media has been very easy on her and she’s well protected. One can also argue that she has a very boring life (“low key” if painting it in a nicer way) lol. I think it’s the former though.
