Bosco Wong and Rose Chan: Lovers or Friends Only?

Although both denied the dating rumors, 37-year-old Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and 25-year-old Rose Chan (陳嘉桓) were caught going back to the actor’s apartment red-handed last week. Rose’s car was spotted parked inside Bosco’s building for two nights.

After ending his long-term relationship with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Bosco briefly dated Japanese model, Jun, before being linked with Rose Chan. While neither parties have admitted to their budding relationship, it was speculated that they have been already secretly seeing each other for over half a year.

Love in Prague

While the pair had filmed Golden Brother <男人唔可以窮> in 2014 together, Bosco and Rose’s sparks flew on the set of web drama, The Guardian <守護神> last year. When they went to Prague for two weeks for on-location filming, Bosco’s interest in Rose was obvious. An insider revealed, “Although Bosco has locked in his target, Rose’s image tanked when she was embroiled in a scandal with Joe Ma (馬德鐘) and Benny Chan (陳浩民) in China. Luckily, she was able to erase the negative news these few years. She felt that Bosco’s dating history is too colorful and wants to watch him carefully. But Bosco is locked in [on Rose].”

It was understood that Bosco was successfully able to pursue Rose after Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and Eric Tsang‘s (曾志偉) encouragement.

Lover or Friend Only?

Despite Rose having been caught going over to Bosco’s house several times, both insisted that there were other friends gathered together to watch the World Cup.

The couple’s secret was uncovered the other day when Bosco was driving home after having dinner with TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲). Although he seemingly went back to his apartment by himself, Rose was in fact already heading to his house separately. Reporters caught Rose parking and headed up to Bosco’s place, even before he was home. Judging by the fact that Rose left her car at the parking lot for two nights, the pair’s relationship has heated up quickly.

Responding to tabloid reports, Bosco denied the dating rumors. Claiming that he treated Rose like one of the guys, Bosco said, “There’s no room for further development. I’ll rather development my career first. Rose also has a nickname, ‘Big Eater’. She can eat a lot of rice. I’m not scared she eat away my wealth since I have such a big restaurant.” Bosco slipped that his new restaurant will be opening soon.

When asked what had happened with the Japanese model, Jun, that he had dated earlier, Bosco declined to comment.
