Rosina Lam To Take Hiatus After “Reversal of Legends”

TVB actress Rosina Lam (林夏薇), who married businessman Jason Mok (莫贊生) two years ago, has announced that she will be taking a hiatus from filming dramas. The 30-year-old Burning Hands <乘勝狙擊> actress slowed down her acting career after tying the knot with Jason back in 2015.

Although Rosina still has some years left in her TVB contract, the years of non-stop filming at TVB has taken a toll in her health. Rosina has decided that it is best to take a short break and spend more time with her family. According to media reports, Jason was the one who suggested Rosina to take the hiatus.

Reversal of Legends <逆轉傳說>, which will be Rosina’s last TVB drama before taking her hiatus, will begin filming this month. The drama also stars Edwin Siu (蕭正楠).

Reporters reached out Rosina to ask her about the impending hiatus, to which Rosina confirmed. She said, “It is time to take a break from filming, but I don’t know how long the break will last.” Asking if they are planning on starting a family, Rosina said, “Having kids have always been part of the plan, but timing has been an issue. With my free time, I’ll be able to spend more time with my husband.”

The couple have just returned from a brief honeymoon trip to Okiniwa, and Rosina even shared some of the pictures they took on social media. Asking if she has any good news to share, Rosina said, “[Having kids] is a gift from the heavens. It’s definitely something to be happy about if it comes true!”
