Weird storyline but for Ruby at least it is set in modern times.
I was hoping this would be a touching Mother-Daughter film, but it looks like the focus may be on the seduction and whatnot. Hope my assumption is wrong.
I think your assumption is spot on. Come on, with Ruby Lin in the movie, there has to be an opportunity for her to look pretty and act seductive, cause if not what’s the point?!?
I think Mt is right, and that is what draws the difference between chinese actresses and hollywood ones. Hollywood actresses can really appear in a movie without or w/ minimal make up throughout the whole set, (i.e. charlize t. in north country), but there always has to be a plot about turning an ugly betty to a beautiful swan in chinese films.
Premired already? Dont know how to watch PTS online. Anyone know how to dl?
Ruby is the selling point. But, I find her boring, esp in movies.
