Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) recently purchased a luxury property in Tseung Kwan O, worth at least a million HKD. The actor said he purchased it for his mother, adding, “It’s by the company. Also a convenient place for me to go home to drink soup.” The Best Actor winner, who is in a relationship, was asked if he has been saving money to buy an apartment for marriage. He said, “I prefer renting property, so if anything happens, the owner can fix it for me.” But it’s good to hold some property after marriage! “I’ll think about it when the time comes. If I decide to buy one, I’ll save money then.”
Pointing out that Vincent Wong (王浩信) is strongest competitor for TV King this year, Ruco nodded and said, “It’s true! As for myself, I am facing it with an ordinary mindset. Don’t forget Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and Kenneth Ma (馬國明)! Edwin’s A Scholar, a General, and a Eunuch <超時空男神> had such high ratings.”

There is no cooking like mom’s cooking , if mom can cook, Many people will agree to that. Add granny to the list too, lol. It looks like Ruco is close to his mom and is also a filial son. Good that his mom can enjoy a nice apartment gift from her son. Some people drift apart from their parents and that is so sad.What is even sadder is when they have money to burn and their parents are living in poverty. Mama Chan can enjoy her old age thanks to her generous son.

If it is 10mil HKD which is equivalent to 1million pounds that pretty much means anyone with leading status at TVB are millionnaires. This isn’t the case abroad because there’s are many TV channels and popularity will be diluted between the different stations. It would require an outstanding series to propel a lead actor to stardom. HK celebrities definitely have it easy and they are never out of work with the unlimited shows they can attend.

These people don’t have to work a day in their charmed lives and can spend money like water without a second thought. At least Ruco still needs to work hard for his money and worry about how to keep his fans.

Agree with you. At least artists/entertainers work for their money…unlike the spoiled second generation of the rich people.
Although i’m also among those who have mentioned that Ruco’s performance is declining lately, but i won’t deny the fact that he is actually a talented actor. If he ever encounter a good script and role again…he will sure be able to deliver another great performance as he did previously. So to Ruco…don’t give up and keep striving!!

Claimed to work with Micheal Jackson, Chow Yun Fat, Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. Claimed to be a director, actress, model. Claimed to own real estate in Italy, England, Canada and the United States. Claimed to have dated the English upper class.
That is where all the delusion and jealousy derived from over the amount of money that the entertainers make. You see, they are living the life that this sicko can only dream and lie about. It falls in love with these men and women and when they marry, or are in a stable relationship, they get shredded by this person. It had over twenty different names at Asianfanatics, over ten at Yummy Celebrities and over a hundred at Jaynestars. It was so vicious at AF that members were afraid to post because they got attacked and cursed out and called all kinds of names by the sicko. It got kicked out of Andy Lau’s fan clubs because of this creature, a lot of members left. AF does not really have anyone posting comments anymore, due to this because they, AF, would not ban it.

@eggplantc I know what you mean. It is trying to be smart by not attacking the other two regulars that it usually attacks, but this is the same demented creature that is going off on Ruco.
