Ruco Chan Denies Having Fall Out with Linda Chung

Yesterday, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), 2014 Miss Hong Kong winner Veronica Shiu (邵珮詩), and a few other TVB artistes attended a charity event in Mong Kok, where they played table tennis with other professional players. Ruco, who once represented Hong Kong in national table tennis before his television debut, was able to show off his skills.

A gossip magazine reported that Ruco and rumored girlfriend Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) had a fall out after Linda discovered that Ruco had cheated on her with a woman from Shanghai. The Brother’s Keeper <巨輪> costars have been romantically linked since 2013, when the drama aired. Although both Ruco and Linda have denied the news, their dating rumors never died down.

At the charity event, Ruco denied he had a fall out with Linda, “We still talk a lot. We will also be filming Brother’s Keeper 2 soon.” In regards to the rumors that he dumped Linda for a woman in Shanghai, Ruco laughed and said, “Why Shanghai? Why not Hong Kong? Are you sure the guy in the photo was me?”

Asked if he would feel awkward around Linda now, Ruco said, “Of course not. Our rumors have been going on for two years. Working in this industry, it’s a good thing that the media is noticing us. I hope [Linda and I] will continue our current relationship as coworkers and friends. It’s good to be a recognized onscreen couple with her.”

Meanwhile, Veronica Shiu said she will soon film her debut drama, Trendsetter <潮流教主>. She shared that the drama is rather “crazy” and hopes that her performance in the series would leave a strong impression with the audience.
