Ruco Chan Wins the 2011 Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong Award! (Collecting Fan Comments)
On September 30th, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) was declared the winner of the 2011 Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong Award after six weeks of heated online voting at JayneStars.com! After the airing of TVB series, The Other Truth <真相>, Ruco shot to stardom and won the audience’s hearts with his great acting and hunkiness!
In the 2011 Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong poll, Ruco garnered 3,517 votes, while 1st Runner-up Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) pulled 1,340 votes, and 2nd Runner-up Raymond Lam (林峰) won 1,268 votes. Congratulations to the men and many thanks to the worldwide fans who voted daily to support them! The complete results of the online votes are available here.
JayneStars.com will be sending an awards package to Ruco Chan in honor of winning the 2011 Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong title. The awards package will include an awards plaque, a t-shirt gift, and a booklet with fans comments. Many thanks to Chin Pang’s Hong Kong Fan Club and their generosity in helping JayneStars.com deliver the awards package to Ruco in person!
Collecting Fan Comments to Be Mailed to Ruco Chan
As part of the the awards package to be sent to Ruco, we will include a printed booklet with fan comments. If you would like to include your comments (in either English or Chinese), please leave a comment at the end of this article. The comments should be positive and relevant to the theme of why Ruco is the Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong. They should not be x-rated and any inappropriate comments (with rude and hateful language) will be deleted.

I guess most of us would agree, that besides your looks, I would think the maturity and charisma you possess on screen capture us, that is way beyond your age. I first started watching TVB dramas back in 2008, around the time you returned to TVB. I remember watching you in “The Threshold of a Persona” and thinking “Who is this handsome guy? He’s a pretty good actor!”
I was quickly impressed by your versatility, became a fan of you, and started following your work. Since then, I’ve been waiting for you to make a breakthrough and become the leading actor you should be.
I don’t think there is any other actor in TVB who deserves their success more than you right now. The more I see you act and the more I find out about you, the more I respect and admire you. However, I believe the one who deserve this award is Keith Lau in The Other Truth than Ruco Chan himself, even he is the one who plays this role.
I think the sexiness from Keith is more on the personality and ability than the looks.

I’m not much of a follower of TVB series (or any other Chinese series for that matter), discovering Ruco in TOT was a delightful encounter indeed; he swept me off my feet with his acting from episode 1 onwards before I discovered his good look. I especially love his eye-acting, his eyes were just mesmerizing, conveying tremendous emotions from elation, rage to absolute despair. Love his voice too as his voice breathes life into the character he portrays. It is a great thing to see him thrive in a rare leading role, I honestly believe that he singlehandedly pull TOT out of mediocrity. Hope Ruco can stay focused on his original goal of becoming a good actor, looking forward to more great performances from Ruco in the future.
