Ruco Chan’s Costars Report to His Wife

Viewers can look forward to the love triangle between Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Rosina Lam (林夏薇), Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) in TVB’s new drama Unbelievable Cases <逆天奇案>. Ruco will have intimate scenes with both actresses, and they are both friends of his wife, Phoebe Sin (單文柔). Crystal and Phoebe participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant during the same year, so they are quite familiar with each other. “I told her immediately once I found out I would be working with Ruco,” Crystal said. “Before I could bring up the intimate scenes, she was like, ‘I know, I know. Don’t worry about it.’”

Although Crystal plays a hacker in the drama, her appearance is not like the typical stay-at-home nerd that everyone is imagining. When she shot a scene inside the hotel with Ruco, she was wearing an eye-catching, low-cut, see-through mesh top. Despite her allure, Ruco only sees Crystal as a little girl in the drama. He said that his intimate scenes with Rosina are going to be more intense. “It can only be so intense though since it’s going to be on TV,” Ruco added.

Seeing that his two female costars are friends of his wife, reporters asked Ruco if they would help Phoebe spy on him. “Haha… many people report back to her. This year, we hosted a lot of events for our baby, and we invited a lot of friends. A lot of the actresses I collaborated with before told Phoebe, ‘Your husband is quite wooden. He doesn’t really talk to us other than about work.,’” Ruco shared.

Hearing this, reporters asked Ruco when Phoeobe would return to work and film dramas. He said, “She only worked in the industry for a little over a year and she mostly filmed variety shows. I will ask her – as long as she’s comfortable because she’ll have to adjust since we have a baby now.”
