Samantha Ko Creates Trouble on the Set of “Agent C9″

New TVB comedy series Agent C9 <C9特工>, starring Samantha Ko (高海寧), Lai Lok-yi (黎諾懿), and Kenneth Ma (馬國明) as the leads, is turning out to be quite challenging to shoot than expected. Since filming began, minor accidents have been taking place on the set, especially when it comes to leading lady Samantha, who portrays a special agent in the drama.

The 31-year-old actress has already injured the back of her head and pelvis while filming action scenes, but fortunately, she was able to recover quickly. Although a professional is always providing instructions and guidance on the side, Lok-yi still explains to Samantha the action in each scene to prevent further injuries as she is very clumsy. However, his efforts went to waste when Samantha still managed to hurt her hand while shooting a scene where she had to lunge forward.

Since she used too much energy while lunging and flew farther than the protective cushion, she ended up lying motionless on the floor, shocking the staff. Finally, she sat up and laughed idiotically; only to find out she scratched her right hand afterward. Samantha said, “I’m clumsy every day, [the staff] won’t think it’s surprising!”

Thus, Lok-yi nicknamed her “Tofu Ling” and said, “Everybody knows! Once she gets into position, everybody will be cautious because every time she needs to do an action, she will definitely get hurt, I don’t know why! If she steps on a newspaper, she can twist her ankle; she is really an interesting person, what she’s made of is very special.”

Lok-yi also added that her safety awareness is different from ordinary people, and complained his workload increased greatly because he has to test out all her positions to lower the chances of her getting hurt. He jokingly said the company should give half of her salary to him.
