Sammy Sum and Katy Kung Hide 6-Month Romance?
Twenty-four-year-old Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) is popular among her TVB male colleagues. Shortly after her debut in 2008’s Dressage to Win <盛裝舞步愛作戰>, she started dating Patrick Tang (鄧健泓). After her breakup with Patrick two years ago, Katy has been linked with Jack Hui (許家傑) and Sammy Sum (沈震軒). Although the pair claimed they were only friends, Katy and Sammy were spotted on multiple dates together.
In August 2013, Katy and Sammy went grocery shopping and carried bags of food home together. This June, they were spotted shopping together at the Tseung Kwan O Plaza mall. Since both are promoted artistes at TVB, they denied their six-month dating relationship in hopes of protecting their images and preventing media intrusion.
Katy Cautious in Romance with Sammy?
An insider disclosed, “They were photographed going to a supermarket after an event last year in August. They were at the stages of getting to know each other, but suddenly a wealthy heir started pursuing Katy and Sammy backed off. When Katy broke up with the wealthy man, Sammy began pursuing her again, and since the pair already had good mutual feelings and both live in Tseung Kwan O, they always buy groceries and cook together. They started seeing each other over half a year ago. Katy’s relationship with Patrick was too high profile, and the breakup was very messy – it affected their images. She is scared of that now, so they’re keeping it low profile!”
Neighbors often see Katy when she goes jogging on a regular basis. Although she usually goes alone, Sammy has been spotted joining her in the past. When confronted, Sammy stated Katy is a very close friend, and they went shopping together because Katy is in the midst of moving.
Sammy said he never thought about dating Katy, “I never thought about it! We’re friends now. When I date, I start thinking about marriage! Katy is a very nice and straight-forward girl who loves to smile. I actually prefer goddesses.” Sammy smiled and said he prefers former Miss Hong Kong participant Suki Chui (徐淑敏), who has a beautiful smile.

They do have a slight resemblance to each other but JJ in my opinion is much prettier. I’m not particularly fond of Katy’s nose.
