Selena Li Does Not Want to Share Bed Scene With Lai Lok Yi

Lawrence Ng (吳啟華), Selena Li (李施嬅), Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), and other cast members of new TVB series, Accident <純熟意外>, attended its costume fitting at TVB City today. Featuring a plot revolving around several relationships, Lawrence will be romantically linked to Selena and Sisley, whereas Selena will be involved with both Lawrence and Lai Lok Yi.

Receiving praise for her portrayal of twin characters in Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain <寒山潛龍>, Selena will be cast in three characters in the new series and is a guest star in over ten episodes. She expressed her excitement in collaborating with Lawrence, since she remembers watching him in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber <倚天屠龍記> back in her student years. Although Selena and Lawrence will be romantically linked in Accident, she has no idea whether they will have any intimate scenes.

However, Selena was not exactly delighted to hear that she would share intimate scenes with Lai Lok Yi instead. She laughed and expressed, “I don’t actually want to film any intimate scenes with him. We’re too familiar with each other, and it’ll be really awkward. When the producer told me we might have a bed scene, my first reaction was ‘What?’. The producer asked if I had a bias against him. I agree he is tall and handsome, but we’re really just too familiar with each other!”

Lawrence Ng: “Age is Not a Factor in Love”

Despite his divorce with Mainland Chinese actress Shi Yangzi (石洋子) last year, Lawrence remains as a loving father to his young daughter. Earlier, he spent Father’s Day with his daughter and ex-mother-in-law. Receiving a pair of shorts as a gift, Lawrence laughed and exclaimed, “My daughter chose the gift with her grandmother. It’s probably because she wants me to bring her swimming.”

In a few days, Lawrence will be heading to Okinawa, Japan for a vacation with his daughter, ex-wife, and ex-mother-in-law. Since his daughter would soon be attending school in the city of Changchun, Lawrence hopes to accept one drama in both Mainland China and Hong Kong each year to make time to visit her.

When asked about what he thinks of Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) dating Grace Chan (陳凱琳), Lawrence congratulated the couple and expressed he does not mind a “father-daughter” relationship. He added, “My past relationship [with Shi Yangzi] also had an age gap of over twenty years. Age isn’t a factor. The most important thing is getting along with each other.”
