Sharon Chan Denies Pregnancy Rumors
After dating businessman William Lui (雷偉信) for ten years, Sharon Chan (陳敏之) finally tied the knot in Bali last week. Staying for a short week to enjoy the beautiful beaches, Sharon has returned to Hong Kong and resumed work. Sporting her new 5-carat diamond ring, Sharon denied that she had a flash marriage.
Good friend, Sammy Leung (森美) joked that Sharon must be pregnant or she would not have gotten married. Clarifying the rumors, Sharon said she would not have held a destination wedding if she were indeed pregnant.
Sporting the glow of a new bride, Sharon said, “No one calls me Ms. Chan anymore; everyone calls me Mrs. Lui. I’m very happy that I’m being called that. I feel that I’ve matured. We’ve thought [about having children], as we both love children very much.
Sharon discussed her work plans after marriage, “We’re busy with work and still have to find a store location for our bakery. I will be filming a new series next month. I have a lot of work after marriage, but I’m happy because I’m a workaholic – I hope the jobs will not stop. My family isn’t pushing us to have children; they’re already happy about the wedding.”
When asked about reports that claimed EEG owner, Albert Yeung (楊受成), has intentions to buy out troubled Hong Kong station, ATV, Sharon said she did not pay close attention to the news lately. However, she believes friendly competition is good and allows organizations to improve. Sharon said she will remain faithful to TVB since they have a good work relationship in the last ten years.

She isn’t bad. I agree, but definately only certain roles. She’s great in lighter more comedic roles like her character in Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion or in Ghetto Justice. Not so great in Line Walker. She doesn’t pull off the professional roles well.
I like her on screen personality though
To me her acting isn’t bad. But hey now, if you wanna wish her well then do so, is it necessary to add in the distasteful remarks lol..

Are you kidding me? She has not reached fadan status and don’t expect she ever will. 2nd lead at best is how i see her.
I never saw her as a fadan, she’s more like a supporting actress ie second line artist. I can’t really see her as a lead to be honest. But she definitely can act.
She looks pretty in the above pic! Haven’t seen her so charming in a long time.
Well she’s 35 already and she do in fact plan on having children, it’s a good time.
She seems to be a likable and a hardworking person, but acting is just not her thing. No matter what character she plays, you always see ‘Sharon Chan’ in each character.

I think you must give her a break. She didn’t have that many opportunities to grow with her roles as most of her roles not breakthrough roles. I do think she has improved a lot though
Agree, TVB did not groom her, so she dont really have the chance to grow.
Sharon is toooooo skinny to have a baby… Seriously she’s not fit and she’s literally bones… Ladies, there is a difference between being slim and being anorexic.. Sharon is almost towards the latter IMO…
First of all, anorexic is a disorder, not an adjective to describe someone’s appearance so get your facts right first. secondly! some females fall pregnant even when they’re naturally skinny, and remain to be quite slim throughout the pregnancy too. But that’s just their body, every body is different. Once a female gets pregnant her body would naturally gain weight anyway to prepare for the baby’s birth.
Skinny doesn’t mean someone isn’t fit or healthy. Likewise, if someone looks slightly heavy, it doesn’t mean they are unhealthy.
At least she got married first? How many can you say do it the traditional way? haha…
