Sharon Chan Vows to Take Care of Family Financially
With positive reviews for her performance in Friendly Fire < 法網狙擊> and the attention generated for her 43” legs and a black-bra-under-a-wet-tank-top scene, Sharon Chan’s (陳敏之) rise to leading lady status finally comes after 11 years of hard work in the industry. Sharon will be the leading in her next drama Arrogant Man of Justice <法網囂雄>.
However, Sharon does not let the new found fame change her. In fact, she was recently spotted in Central shopping at affordable retailers like Gap and not the luxury boutiques in the area. After purchasing a shirt at Gap, she walked into a small bakery to purchase an egg tart followed by a stop at McDonald’s for a hamburger. Although some pedestrians seem to have recognized Sharon, she did not let it bother her and continued on with her shopping trip.
Sharon comes from a modest background – her father was a tailor and her mother was an office worker for an insurance agency. Several years ago, her father passed away from pneumonia and Sharon took it upon herself to take care of her mother and younger brother, 6 years her junior.
“I promised my father that I will take care of them. I wish to provide my mom a comfortable life – hiring someone to take care of her and give her a nice house to live in. I also hope that my younger brother will graduate college and find a good job. I need to work hard to take care of them and provide for them, which is my responsibility as the eldest daughter,” Sharon said.
