Sheren Tang Celebrates 51st Birthday
Turning 51 on March 2, Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) celebrated her birthday at work in Mainland China. Her coworkers surprised her with a large birthday cake. Despite being on set for filming, Sheren took the time out of her busy schedule and went live on social media to celebrate virtually with her fans, who were quick to praise her ageless beauty. Sheren humbly responded, “It is a lie if I tell you that I naturally have great skin. When I return to Hong Kong, I have to do skincare maintenance every other day. This is something that women have to do for their entire lives!”
Although Sheren is content with life right now, she lamented that the only thing missing is her soulmate. However, her birthday wish this year does not focus on her love life. Instead, the 51-year-old expressed, “I’ve always had a lot of opinions about education. Right now, I feel that there are problems in both Hong Kong and overseas. Everyone’s life seems to revolve around prestigious schools, colleges, and a good career. Happiness in life seems to have no connection. This will make many children suffer. I believe that letting a child live a truly happy life is very important. This is my birthday wish! I will pray for this.”
Sheren’s last drama with TVB was Beauty at War <金枝慾孽貳>. In addition to poor ratings, the drama also caused tensions between Sheren and TVB. When asked whether she will consider returning to TVB, Sheren said she is happy filming in Mainland China. “There’s more time to rest [filming in Mainland China]. I like focusing while filming. Right now, I am filming in Wuxi. It’s very relaxed and I can focus. But in Hong Kong, artistes have to work from 10 to 20 hours, so you can’t do other things.”
Despite the current popularity of reality shows, Sheren is not interested in inviting the public to witness her day-to-day life. “My personality is quite candid. I like freedom, so I don’t want to have several cameras following me for long periods of time. I am an actress, and there is no need to let everyone to know everything about me.”

@funnlim It could be the phone camera..some phone front camera does a filter and make your skin flawless.. I know mine does it and I like it! heheheheh make it look so much younger!
