Sisley Choi Got In a Minor Car Accident
Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) got held up in a minor car accident while on her way to attend an event for a watch brand on Friday afternoon. She was 45 minutes late to the event.
The 25-year-old, who is not very familiar with the area, crashed into a taxi while she was on the way to get her hair and makeup done. “We crashed into each other at the same time. I’m not sure who hit who first. I was the only one in my car at the time,” said Sisley. The Presumed Accidents <純熟意外> star did not call 999, as some patrolling police and firemen were around the area.
The glass on the right side of Sisley’s car was damaged, and some of the broken shards scraped into her skin. “There was some bleeding, but the paramedics patched me up really well. They were very attentive and patient when they picked up the broken glass pieces off my clothes and skin.”
Sisley, who is currently shooting the TVB drama Mind Hunter <心理追兇Mind Hunter>, said this was her first car accident. She’s quite shaken, but will make sure to be more mindful of traffic safety. “I’m not a very experienced driver,” she said. Will she take additional driving lessons? “I’ll learn how to read a map.”
Sisley isn’t the only Mind Hunter cast member with poor luck. A few weeks ago, Mat Yeung (楊明) injured his knee while doing a motorcycle stunt and received about 14 stitches. Veteran actress Ching Hor-wai (程可為) also injured her tailbone. Was it because the cast didn’t properly perform a blessing ceremony?
Asking if Sisley is superstitious, she merely laughed and shook her head.
