Sisley Choi Watches Vincent Wong with Intense Admiration
While it seems that rumors between Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) and Vincent Wong (王浩信) have subsided, many noticed that she looked at him with open admiration during the 50th TVB Anniversary Awards. Although the media had even claimed that Sisley was the third wheel in Vincent’s marriage, Sisley was unafraid of gossip and gazed at Vincent intently throughout the evening.
Stops Interview to Watch Vincent’s Win
Having won the Most Popular Female Character award based on her role in Legal Mavericks <踩過界>, Sisley was doing an interview backstage with several reporters. Chatting smoothly until it was time to announce the winner of the Best Actor award, Sisley suddenly asked to halt her interview until she was done watching Vincent’s speech.
Upon hearing Sisley’s sudden outburst, her assistant advised it would be wiser to finish her interview first. Sisley ignored her assistant’s advice and the requests from reporters. She made her way around the stage to get a better glimpse of Vincent. Standing near the bottom of the stage, Sisley watched Vincent intensely, seemingly very touched at Vincent’s heartfelt speech.
After the whirlwind of events, Sisley accepted another interview and was asked as to why she felt it was necessary to rush out to watch Vincent. Without hesitating, Sisley said, “Because we worked on Legal Mavericks together and he gave everything in that drama. I don’t want to miss out on this special moment.”
One-Sided Affection?
Sisley’s reaction towards Vincent seemed odd and out-of-place. However, Vincent did not show Sisley any special attention. Although he did smile at Sisley when he was on stage while looking over at the crowd of supportive friends, Vincent’s acceptance speech was mainly about his struggles as an actor and his gratitude towards his wife, Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤), who was surprisingly absent during the awards ceremony.
While his role as the blind lawyer in Legal Mavericks was critically acclaimed, Vincent spoke about the obstacles he had to go through in the nine years at TVB. Recalling the days where he was broke and jobless, Vincent cried, “TVB8 reached out to me when I only had double digits in my bank account and offered me a music hosting job. This made me from being broke to becoming a hit on the show.”
Last but not least, Vincent thanked Yoyo for her unending support over the last couple of years, “You give me love no matter what situation we’re in. No matter how broken I am, you give me comfort and let me take a break – I’m really thankful.”
Sisley Continues to Stare at Vincent
After the awards ceremony concluded, Vincent posed with Best Actress Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) for press photos. Sisley stood quietly by the sidelines while watching Vincent intently. Sisley smiled broadly and was still brimming with excitement over Vincent’s Best Actor win.

i would be doing the same thing if i were her! Vincent deserved his win. and let’s be honest, she probably learned a lot from him too. her cheering him on is actually what a great friend and mentee would do.
I’m still sad he didn’t win best actor in Over Run Over — it would’ve been Tracey in Sisley’s place instead. but Tracey made it known that in her heart, he’s already best actor. so how’s that for intimate?
I don’t like sisley but this is too much. Even if true, a girl i allowed to secretly love a hot guy and vice versa so long it is not carried to real life.
can’t tell whether it’s admiration or trying to make someone jealous.
When will the media give them a break? If I were in her shoes, I’d totally want to watch his acceptance speech too! It’d be more abnormal for a major costar to NOT want to watch the speech. Heck, Owen Cheung even CRIED when Vincent won. Surely this doesn’t mean that he is also secretly in love with Vincent too? Rolling my eyes.
Feel bad for Vincent for always having to defend himself and feel more bad for Yoyo. Even if she trusted her husband 100%, the media’s constant accusations are probably going to make her delusional enough to believe it at some point. Also, Sisley seems like a normal tomboyish girl to me. There are plenty just like her in the states. Being labeled home wrecker/third party all the time must be crappy.
I can’t believe this news article. The whole ceremony high point is the Best Actor Awards presentation and speech. No one in attendance would not want to miss it nevermind Sisley who also played lead in the series and is also at least a good friend. I understand that after winning a big award herself, it is her duty to complete the interviews but that can wait. Can only see the presentation one time.
Poor girl. She kept getting pound with ridiculous bad image news. She must had pissed someone important or related to media off. It’s like if she sneeze, they will said she’s patient 0 of bird flu.
Dude, they worked and won for the same series. He wont Best Actor, the most prestige award of the whole ceremony (though I find the whole ceremony is useless). Of course she wouldn’t want to miss his speech to show her co-worker support. If she looked at the ceiling, there would be an article about her disrespectful or even jealous attitude. Smh.
Her attitude/behavior reminds me Jennifer Lawrence. Ditzy. Clumsy. Immature-ish. No poise. Though US globs up JL like the most freshest thing. HK casts SC into 18th floor of hell. Lol.
@jjwong JL is very quick-witted, funny and articulate. That in itself makes up for a lot of faults in her. Her “faults” becomes endearing qualities instead. Makes me wanna go take some improv lessons to learn how to be funnier

That is so true. The HK press seems determine to paint her as a flirt, boyfriend stealer or homewrecker.
Even when she’s doing something nice, like buying food and cooking for a female friend (who is also in entertain industry), the reporter feel to need to imply that she’s shoe-polishing or buying affection.
