Six-Month Pregnant Ada Choi Reluctant to Part With Daughter

Despite being 6-months pregnant with her second baby, 39-year old Ada Choi (蔡少芬) was ready to earn as much RMB as she can. Earlier, she was spotted at the Shanghai International Airport with her husband, Max Zhang (張晉), and 2-year old daughter, nicknamed “Little Rice Ball”. Max and Little Rice Ball were returning to Hong Kong while Ada will soon head to Chengdu for a ribbon-cutting event.

The pregnant Ada pushed a luggage cart with her daughter sitting inside, chewing on the ear of a plush animal. Max dealt with all the check-in procedures, to allow his wife to take a short break. Ada was unwilling to part as her husband and daughter were about to enter the safety gates. She kissed Little Rice Ball farewell, gave her a big high five, and waved goodbye to her husband. Little Rice Ball stuck out her mouth and made a cute pig snout face. The mother and daughter were overflowing with love and warmth. After the broadcast of Legend of Zhen Huan <甄嬛傳>, Ada’s popularity had soared in mainland. Fans approached and asked for photos, in which she agreed to.

Max Zhang Keeps Gender of New Child a Secret

The media asked Max whether Ada will be working until the birth of her second child. He replied, “I can’t even ask her to stop. Her personality is like this. She is very hard-working. I believe she’ll only stop after she’s done with this job at hand. We did discuss with the doctor each time to make sure everything is okay. We’re not going to be irresponsible.”

Max further expressed that he already knows the gender and expected date of birth of his second child, but he will not reveal it to the media in hopes of keeping it mysterious. However, he did say that this would be their last child.
