Son Ye Jin Supports Hyun Bin’s New Movie

Released in September, Hyun Bin’s Confidential Assignment 2: International marks his return to the action franchise which has performed well at the box office. The movie has been seen by 6 million moviegoers, and the actor’s wife Son Ye Jin is also an enthusiastic supporter.

In the movie, Hyun Bin reprises his role as a North Korean police officer. Although he had originally planned to portray the character in a similar manner as the first movie, Hyun Bin realized during filming that the sequel has a lot more comedic scenes and thus decided to display a more cheerful side to his character.

Although Son Ye Jin has been rarely seen in public since the announcement of her pregnancy, she watched Confidential Assignment 2 in the movie theater. Posting a photo of two movie ticket stubs in her Instagram story, it is likely she went with Hyun Bin. As it is rare for the the couple to show their support for each other publicly—even after marriage– many netizens swooned over their romantic gestures, commenting, “They are too sweet,” and “A late night date is so romantic.”
