Sonjia Kwok Moves Back to Canada for Daughter

Since tying the knot with action choreographer Zhu Shaojie (朱少傑) back in 2011, former TVB actress Sonija Kwok (郭羨妮) faded from the limelight to focus on taking care of her daughter Kylie.

The 48 year-old recently caught netizens’ attention again with a selfie she posted on social media which showed her basking under the sun with minimal make-up on, prompting netizens to express disbelief at her youthfulness and immaculate skin, as they commented that it was as if she had never aged since years ago.

The actress of several lauded dramas including A Step into the Past <尋秦記>, Where The Legend Begins <洛神> and D.I.E series <古靈精探>, the 1999 Miss Hong Kong pageant winner has often been labeled a “goddess of youthfulness” by netizens. In 2022, she made a drama return for the first time in 6 years with the ViuTV production Inevitable <冥冥之中>, which her daughter also debuted in!

Based on social media photos posted, it is speculated that Sonija is currently situated overseas. Herself a former student of famed girls’ school Holy Angels Canossian School in Hong Kong, Sonija had mentioned about plans to make arrangements for her daughter to further studies in a less stressful environment in Canada, as she sees how much homework HK students are burdened with.

The ageless beauty had herself obtained her degree in Canada, majoring in psychology and economics. Previously revealing that she would like to return to Canada when she retires, it appears that the mother of one has already set her plans into motion.
