Tavia Yeung & Steven Ma Not Anxious About ‘Sweetness in the Salt’s’ Rating

Steven Ma Chun Wai, Tavia Yang Yi and Raymond Wong Ho Yin attended a promotional event for “Sweetness in the Salt” 《碧血鹽梟》yesterday. During the game segment, Producer Lee Tim Shing became a target of the games. Tavia fed Lee Tim Shing ice cream while other actresses kissed him on the cheek, causing him much embarrassment.

When reporters pointed out that Lee Tim Shing seemed to be the target during the games segment, Tavia denied the allegation and said that she was surprised by his participation. However, he seemed to enjoy himself. “We are all pretty women with beautiful lips!” Regarding the average ratings for “Sweetness in the Salt” hovering at 28 points, Tavia pointed out that the series generated favorable word-of-mouth, thus there was no need to be too anxious about the actual ratings.

Steven Ma said that he did not realize ahead of time that Lee Tim Shing would become the target during the games segment. Steven praised Lee Tim Shing for having a good-natured spirit and participating in the games. Was Steven satisfied with the series’ratings? Since “Sweetness in the Salt” was already broadcast overseas before it was aired in Hong Kong, Steven noted that many people have already seen the series. Thus, he did not place too much hope in the ratings. Also, the alternative subject matter may not appeal to the broad audience.

Lee Tim Shing admitted afterwards that he was a bit embarrassed for being in the limelight during the game segment. He said he was never surrounded by so many [pretty] women before, but this was a happy surprise for him.
