Tavia Yeung Wants to Film Historical Drama
Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) recently wrapped up filming for Darkside of the Moon <黑色月光>. Although her priority is her family, she will continue to film dramas if she comes across a script that she likes.
Traveling to Suzhou for the first time for work, Tavia found the city to be very beautiful. Tavia recently shared some photos of herself in Suzhou in an elegant qipao inspired dress. She wrote, “I’m not someone who is poetic, but I’ve been captivated by Suzhou’s beautiful scenery. Misty alleys, small bridges and flowing water, and the fireworks of the ancient town with white walls and black tiles. People who live here can become true poets even if they cannot write poetry…”
Tavia brought her two children to visit her husband Him Law (羅子溢), who is currently filming in China. “Other than visiting him at work, I brought them to see other areas of China. They’re starting school soon, which is why we didn’t visit other countries as well.”
Fans praised Tavia for looking beautiful in her qipao, which reminded them of her role in Beyond the Realm of Conscience <宮心計>. Her slim figure did not resemble a mother of two. Tavia thanked everyone and shared she really wants to film a historical drama, “I’ve been watching Lost You Forever <長相思> recently and the four leads did very well–I really like one of the characters in particular.”

It doesn’t make sense with the comment about her kids about to start school that’s why they didn’t visit other countries as well! Is that translated wrong?
It’s the right translation, pretty accurate. I think the implication is that they could only visit China as it’s closer not other countries.
