Tiffany Lau and Rosita Kwok Dress Up in Cosplay

TVB drama Anonymous Signal <奪命提示> held a promotional event at a shopping mall in Tin Shui Wai this week. Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇) and Rosita Kwok (郭柏妍) appeared in cosplay as their characters “Double C”. Their  cute and flirty outfits immediately caught the attention of the men in the crowd.

Tiffany and Rosita danced a cute routine with Karl Ting (丁子朗), fed Owen Cheung (張振朗) cake, and gave Joel Chan (陳山聰) a massage. Even producer Jazz Boon (文偉鴻) jumped in on the action and took a group picture with the female cast.

Asked if they felt nervous wearing such revealing outfits, Tiffany admitted she felt a little shy, “This is the first time I’ve dressed like this and it’s especially nerve wracking to be seen by so many people in the mall!” They gave their all for the promotion, hoping everyone would pay extra attention when the scene airs.

When reporters asked if they mind being called “The Magic Sound Maids,” Tiffany laughed that they purposefully sang terribly for the drama, “We don’t sound like this in real life!” Asked if they had any issues with coordination while dancing, both said that it was okay. Rosita explained the choreography involved many fixed poses, “Every pose was carefully designed, even how to smile, so I think it’s really good. I didn’t expect they would design each move for us.”

Despite their revealing outfits, Tiffany responded the audience was very polite and kept a bit of extra distance. When asked if Double C would appear at other events, they said arrangements would need to be made, but Tiffany teased, “Aside from this outfit, we actually have several other sets of clothes. We’re twin sisters appearing together.”

Tiffany hopes the audience will pay special attention to the storyline and their outfits because everyone had put in a lot of effort to bring this to reality. They had practiced the dance for quite some time, “We were shooting the drama and had to find time to do all these different things, so it was hard on the other units to adjust to our shooting schedule.”

  1. Tiffany in this drama is ridiculous. Her acting is so bad, she cannot act in drama or emotional scenes. It is so fake and overdone. Also explain to me why she is dressed that way in every drama. Like is it really realistic for a police officer to be in leather shorts and crop tops? It annoys the crap out of me lol.

    1. Totally agree with u about Tiffany. Among the female cast, prefer Moon the most. She is convincing as a female cop. I dun get why during operation, the 3 female cops do not tie up their long hair. The 3 male cops are good esp Joel, but he is playing too much inspector role. Karl Ting is a breath of fresh air as a young cop. His eyes gaze and expression is good in action fight scenes. Rosita should work more on her face expression during action fight scenes

  2. So… my comment didn’t publish, idk why. This is like the 3rd time it’s happened on this site.

Whoever is managing Tiffany Lau is really pushing her to bear skin to promote the series she’s in. It’s become slightly disturbing. I follow the official TVB page on Facebook and they are constantly posting photos of Tiffany Lau in bikinis, focusing on her midriffs and chests, etc. to the point I thought I was following a Japanese AV page or something. I unfollowed them because it was getting on my nerves. The way they film her is very, very male-gazey. She’s an adult woman and can make her own decisions, so I truly hope she’s not coerced into doing this and feels safe in her work environment. TVB doing such promotions makes them feel incredibly cheap. The work should speak for itself. If it’s got a good script, directing, and acting, they shouldn’t have to use their female actors to dress in skimpy outfits. It cheapens the productions. I’ll probably skip more shows in the future if this is the route they’re taking.
