Tomohisa Yamashita Steals Attention in “Alice in Borderland 2” Trailer

Netflix hit thriller Alice in Borderland is returning with a second season on December 22. While fans are excited to see Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya reprising their roles, the newly released trailer with Tomohisa Yamashita is stealing the spotlight.

The second seasons takes place immediately after the ending of season 1 which saw Arisu (Kento Yamazaki), Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya), Chishiya (Nijirō Murakami) and Kuina (Aya Asahina) being forced to play and survive dangerous games. The four characters eventually come face to face with Mira (Riisa Naka), one of the game masters. However, instead of ending the game, Mira introduces the second phase of the game.

In the second season, Tamashita is set to play the King of Clubs. As the character is a nudist in the source manga, many netizens are surprised that Yamashita is not shying away from baring skin. Naked down to his hip, Yamashita shows off his impressive and toned figure. Many fans praise the actor for fully immersing in his role.

Sharing their filming experience, Yamazaki and Tsuchiya reveal that they get excited every time they see Yamashita on set. Tsuchiya reveals that she regularly went to the gym to prepare for her athletic role and would often bump into Yamashita. Tsuchiya adds, “The King of Clubs is more radiant because the role is played by Yamashita. He is really a dedicated actor.”
