Tony Hung Doesn’t Want to Talk About Rebecca Zhu Anymore

Filming for Armed Reaction 2020 <陀槍師姐2020> recently, Tony Hung (洪永城) got along well with co-star Gloria Tang (鄧佩儀). But when reporters brought up his old rumors with Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), Tony instantly frowned and didn’t want to revisit his old controversy.

After working together in Wonder Women <多功能老婆> last year, it was rumored that Tony and Rebecca didn’t see eye-to-eye. Rebecca was unhappy about Tony’s last-minute request in adding kiss scenes to filming, and Tony was angry at Rebecca for going to the press with the issue. Ending off the production on bad terms, the possibility of the two working together again in the future seems highly unlikely.

While filming for Armed Reaction 2020, Tony and Gloria won’t have to worry about this issue as they do not have any kiss scenes. After filming a triad showdown scene at a restaurant, Tony was joking around with his co-stars off-camera but immediately lost his smile when the reporters came up and asked him about Rebecca. He said he didn’t have comments and exclaimed, “I want this issue to be finished, I don’t want to talk about it again – it’s over, just let it be! I hope both parties can be open-minded–it’s not just men, women should be more open-minded. We all should.”

Despite their awkward situation, Tony stressed that he never said he doesn’t want to work with Rebecca again and won’t mind collaborating together if the company asks.
