TVB 2013 Calendar Revealed
When the unfinished TVB 2013 photo stills were leaked last month, TVB threatened to pursue legal action. It was not the first time that the company’s confidential materials were exposed to outsiders, alarming management executives as to the company’s security levels.
With the final TVB 2013 images revealed yesterday, the photos closely resembled the earlier leaked photos. In the calendar, TVB’s current leading artists were featured prominently, alongside treasured veterans and rising stars.
Featured prominently in the January month are Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Aimee Chan (陳茵媺), Kate Tsui (徐子珊), Raymond Lam (林峯), and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣).
In February are Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Michael Tse (謝天華), Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Tavia Yeung (楊怡), and Fala Chen (陳法拉).
March features an all-female ensemble of Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Sharon Chan (陳敏之), and Selena Li (李詩韻).
April turns on the testosterone level with Vincent Wong (王浩信), Him Law (羅仲謙), Jason Chan (陳智燊), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿), and Edwin Siu (蕭正楠).
Perhaps coinciding with Mother’s Day, May stars favorite veterans, Nancy Sit (薛家燕), Susanna Kwan (關菊英), Louise Lee (李司琪), and Michelle Yim (米雪).
June features the allure of “non-idol” mature men, Evergreen Mak (麥長青), Lau Dan (劉丹), Sunny Chan (陳錦鴻), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), Ben Wong (黃智賢), and Raymond Wong (曹永廉).
July sparkles with a roster of former Miss Hong Kong beauty queens: Toby Chan (陳庭欣), Carat Cheung (張名雅), Sonija Kwok (郭羨妮), Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), and Tracy Ip (葉翠翠).

I agree with this…I don’t think she has been first female lead in any of the series. If anything, I think Fala and Tavia should’ve been in her place..
What confuses me even more: there’s Witness Insecurity and HAL. So why is Linda the odd one out instead? Not only is she shoved right to the edge, but the vibe is completely different from the rest of the group.
Seeing as they’ve gone overboard with the Photoshop, perhaps they should have considered photoshopping out Aimee’s face…
And what lies. The “final” product looks the exact same as the leaked ones.
Exactly, she’s like the outcast! I wish they replaced her with Ron or Tavia. Then all the good buddies can be together. Or put Tavia and Ron together! Their pairing is always good.
caliber? please, like the two other women have any. kate and linda are both ugly, one’s got a crooked nose and the other has a flat face, their acting is still very aggravating and annoying. if anything, if i sat through their horror, guess you ppl have to do the same. aimee is better looking and more natural in her acting than them.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But the acting of only a few years cannot match to Kate or Linda. Saying that Aimee is more natural than them is wrong as I find her to be unnatural sometimes but I do agree, Aimee is quite cute.
Agree with Magic that beauty is in the eye of the beholder as I personally think that both Kate and Linda are better looking girls than Aimee. As for acting, she is not up to either girls’ level.
I am not Aimee’s fan, will never be one…But TVB is promoting her a lot..She has 4 drama next year!!

I like the calendar look, like most I think there should of been other stars on there and the arrangement is not the best, but the Calendar is pretty nice. Raymond Wong is added to the Mature men, maybe because of his clean image and that he is married with child. =)

Ben Wong actually looks really good in the pic with all the “mature” men. Sonija is definitely the most beautiful of the former Miss HKs from that photo. The rest of the girls just look plain beside her.

I see a lot of photoshop in the legs. Fala chen’s legs looked photoshop and the month of the ‘long legs’ are photoshopped. LinXiawei looks kinda weird in it.

Raymond Wong and Oscar look lovely~ I think I like December best; partly due to the group itself, but also because it looks far more natural than the others.
To be honest, I didn’t expect Eddie to be on the calendar! 😮 But he’s a great actor, loved him in The Link!

Personally I think the worst-looking actress in the above photos is Myolie Wu. She is super skinny and looks like a skeleton (especially her arm and around arm-pit areas). She needs to gain some weight to make herself prettier.

Every pix is good, except the first one. Why even put Linda in the pix if she all the way on the side by herself. She should be in the 2nd pix. She did good in Daddy Good Deeds.

you people care too much about position, thats whats wrong with HK entertainment, when viewers complain and whine about the most trivial things. Just cause Aimee isnt liked by you doesnt mean she isn;t liked by others(obviously TVB crew and producer like her enough to keep using her.) Just go watch Linda and Kate, and stop hating on Aimee bc they have as much amounts of ppl who hate them too, if you want to bring it to the table.
I like December the most. it has a very joyous and celebratory atmosphere. Everyone looks so happy.

I think they all look good but my favourite is November as my most liked actors are there except for one.
TVB is just doing the same for Aimee as they do for their title winners, which is to promote them. She brings in revenue and more advertisement income for them from the time of her Miss HK days up to the present, so yes she’s got a place in the front since the company is making money off of her.
All these ppl in entertainment aren’t necessarily more talented than another. They are given chances because of their looks since imaging is paramount, everything else they pick up later. Why on earth would anyone think Kate and Linda are better when I remember how everyone hated their butts just not long ago. Its a rinse and repeat promotion model. Get over it since yours(linda and kate in the days) enjoyed it too.
Tavia looks stunning in the February shoot. She looks so young and pretty! The photographer caught a really good angle of her! (:
August looks a bit weird too. All the girls can’t stand straight because of the low ceiling. Poor Samantha Ko. That is not a very comfortable position.
I’m surprised that Sire Ma is taller than Katy Kung. Sire Ma always looks petite to me, but, Katy Kung doesn’t.
Heels and photoshop do the work. irl, I none of them are really tall.
I actually find the pic for this month the most awkward of the entire calendar. Their poses and stance are just so unnatural in my opinion.
i have a feeling their legs are just photoshopped…they’re all relatively short besides samantha ko and maybe vivien. no way all of their legs are the same long length

Cheung Man Wah (photographer) did a very bad job to this calendar. He shot wrongly in most of cases and out of focus. I have never really like his works but he did a little better than this in wat I’ve seen. Maybe its the first time he works with groups.
Photoshop is also done by his company and bad job. I can see at least 20 Photoshop faults in this calendar, some are so funny. All are Photoshop to be dolls (girls,) with unbelievable long legs (LMAO, this things the girls may like because their real legs, not alll are beautiful. But even let out all of this, the artists in each month mostly look at different angles and it is the funniest factor.
Overall, I wont buy this calendar for any reason. Unless they send me free like before when I buy Dvd, I will take one. It dun worth money.

The worst concept belongs to April. The worst arrangement is Jan.
Worst Photoshop is Mar. The waist of Nancy is resized badly by Photoshop.
Best ones are Sep and Dec because at least they look at the same thing, not each person each thing.

I think it’s Lunar New Year + Valentine’s Day. The pink plum blossoms are for CNY, while the red roses are for V Day. Red Rose stands for love.

Is it just me, or did TVB hire newbie photographers? Many of these pictures are so weird. There’s no sense of focus anywhere, some people are awkwardly positioned, and some are like standing alone with way too much gap.

I love April’s one the most! All of them looks so handsome and cool in the picture. I also like the people in the January one just that i didnt expect aimee to be with the other four.
I would have preferee linda standing where aimee stood so it’ll be bosco-linda and raymond-kate. The other way round would be equally good.
I just dont like the fact that linda looks like an outcase in the picture, but the truth is the spotlight for that month is hers cos everyone would notice her first.
