TVB Producer Confirms Myolie Wu & Bosco Wong Are Dating
TVB’s new series “Burning Flame 3” 《烈火雄心3》will be aired on Monday, July 6th. Cast members, Wong He, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Myolie Wu Hang Yee, Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Aimee Chan Yan Mei etc. attended a promotional event for the series. Over 50 actors wore their firefighter uniforms at the event.
Although Myolie and Bosco had “zero interaction” at the event, “Burning Flame 3’s” Producer, Amy Wong revealed that the pair were dating in real life. This caused much embarrassment for Myolie and Bosco.
In the series, Bosco and Aimee Chan play a couple. Bosco’s character does not have any relationship with Myolie. Bosco laughed, “The audience can see a fresh pairing this time.” Bosco noted that he shared a passionate kiss with Aimee in the series, but this was after suffering through numerous slapping scenes. “During filming, I asked Aimee to let go of any inhibitions and slap me. Otherwise, the effect will not appear to be realistic. Since the last two “Burning Flame” series were highly successful, Bosco admitted he felt a bit of pressure. Hopefully his sacrifices during filming will yield a favorable return.
Myolie will be entangled in a love triangle with Wong He and Kevin Cheng. Reporters noted that Myolie and Bosco’s onscreen lover image was deeply ingrained in audience’s minds. Myolie said embarrassingly, “I hope my pairing with Wong He and Kevin will scatter the audience’s attention. If I always pair with Bosco, I am afraid the audience will be bored.” Myolie noted that the actors put in blood and sweat during the filming of “Burning Flame 3.” Hopefully the series will generate good ratings and word of mouth.
During the filming of “Burning Flame 3,” there were rumors that Wong He and Kevin did not get along with each other. At yesterday’s event, the actors did not have any exchange either. Wong He stressed that there was nothing between Kevin and himself. He also did not mind collaborating with Kevin again in the future as they were colleagues. Wong He said, “If you say too much, there will be rumors. If you do not talk to each other, there will still be rumors. It may be best to pursue each other’s own development.”
Wong He noted that this will be the last time he will be acting in the “Burning Flame” series. The filming was very strenuous and he was afraid that his body would not be able to physically bear the burden.
