Virginia Lau Is Dating Andrew Pong?

Appearing on August 8 for the premier of the movie Borderland <邊緣禁地：沙丘喪戰>, rumored couple Virginia Lau (劉溫馨) and second-gen star Andrew Pong (龐景峰) were grilled on their relationship status! Talk had swirled that Andrew’s mom, Sharon Kwok (郭秀雲), disapproved of their budding romance, and had also tried to break up Andrew and his previous girlfriend Hailey previously.

Virginia Flatly Denies Romantic Talk
On seeing media at the event, the two stars split up and took interviews separately, but eventually complied to pair up for photo requests.

Interviewed, 33-year-old Virginia said that she was filming in Malaysia recently and returned to Hong Kong during her break. When asked if her boyfriend had visited her on set, she replied that no one had done so, and emphasized her wish to focus on her work instead. Asked about being forcibly separated, she immediately replied, “Nonsense, no such matter. (Meaning you are getting along well?) Nothing’s happened, it’s a joke. (Will it affect your relationship with Andrew?) Because it ain’t true, so I won’t bother (replying),”

Probed about his love life, Andrew, son of martial arts star Chin Siu Ho (錢小豪), fended off questions on romance, and expressed that his main focus was on a few work assignments on hand, before he would contemplate other matters. On disapproval on the relationship, he replied, “My mom doesn’t know her, hasn’t seen her, she also hasn’t met my mom, my entire family doesn’t know about her existence, so it is a little weird. (When are you meeting with her parents?) I think I gotta be ready first…my mom hasn’t met her, they haven’t even seen each other before.”
