Wang Leehom Wins Defamation Case
When his ex-wife Lee Jinglei (李靚蕾) accused Leehom Wang (王力宏) of cheating, speculations grew over the women the singer was involved with. One WeChat user, known as hard candy (脫氧硬糖) in particular made many posts with salacious headings such as “Wang Leehom’s mistress was Vivian Hsu (徐若瑄)!” and “Wang Leehom and Blackie Chen’s (陳建州) Foursome Video Leaked!” After taking legal action, Leehom and has recently won the defamation case.
After a full trial, the court ruled the contents of the article contained severe slander and false accusations against Leehom’s reputation and career and caused great harm to Vivian. The court required the WeChat account to publish an apology statement and compensate for the losses caused.
Leehom’s manager expressed he has great respect for the court’s decision and will be donating all the compensation to orphanages in need. “At this stage, I hope everyone will pay more attention to Leehom’s music and his wonderful performances at recent music festivals.”
Although Leehom’s reputation suffered after his divorce, he made a comeback last year. It was reported Leehom accepted 25 events in the first half of 2024, with an average audience of 60,000 at each event.

Well…with no evidence. Not surprised Leehom won. But his good man image is tarnished. He may not be as popular as before but he is still very talented. With this experience, I bet he will write even more emotional songs.

listening to his songs make me want to puke. there are voices supporting him now saying that he’s in fact a gentlemen b/c he didn’t say a bad word about his ex-wife. regardless of whether he’s good or not, i can’t see men who cheat on their wives profusely and divorce her after a son as half decent.
He is one that hide and does things behind the back. He has no guts to be out front. He even gets his staff to threaten his ex wife outside her apartment. That says alot about this loser..
