TVB artist, Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), allegedly will be expecting her first child any day now. Photographed 7 months pregnant in Los Angeles, USA earlier, Shirley made a surprise appearance on Weibo last month, but did not respond to any questions regarding the arrival of her new baby. With Shirley becoming a mother soon, ex-boyfriend, Gregory Lee (李泳豪) has finally put their 9-year love relationship and painful break up behind him as well.
Expecting in Los Angeles
In September 2011, Shirley Yeung took a quiet hiatus from her acting career, requesting several months off from TVB. Some fans speculated that she was shying from the limelight after a scandalous break up with ex-boyfriend, Gregory Lee. The mystery of her whereabouts remained unsolved, until Next Magazine published a photo of a 7-month pregnant Shirley in Los Angeles, USA. Accompanied by her mother and new beau, Andy Ng (吳帥), Shirley was living at her brother’s house while expecting their first child.
Shirley’s delivery date was estimated to be at the end of February or early March. On February 5th, Shirley made a surprise appearance on Weibo, posting photos of a sushi meal and writing, “This was truly delicious!” Shortly afterwards, Shirley wrote, “Happy Lantern Festival!”
Pleasantly surprised by Shirley’s Weibo message, fans asked whether she had returned to Hong Kong. Some netizens asked why she was eating raw food and wondered whether she had already given birth. However, Shirley did not respond to any of the questions. Shirley’s manager clarified that Shirley was still on vacation and has not returned to Hong Kong yet, while remaining tight lipped regarding the status of Shirley’s pregnancy.
With Shirley about to enter motherhood, Gregory Lee has finally been able to put behind their bittersweet romance. According to On.cc, Gregory’s twin brother, Augustine Lee (李泳漢), stated, “After Gregroy saw the report of the heavily pregnant Shirley, he finally came to a realization and woke up!” When it was pointed out that Gregory was formerly obsessed with Shirley and unable to let go of their painful breakup, Augustine clarified, “Gregory is just sincere in love!”

Jayne: People must move on in life, however difficult the transition is. Unfortunately, sometimes the transitions are so difficult in life that it prompts some people to take their own lives and commit suicide.
Shirley and Gregory’s break up was a life changing event for both of them. Now that Shirley is entering a new chapter in her life, it is good to hear that Gregory has moved on and hopefully his heartbreak has healed completely as well.
Glad to hear that Gregory has finally moved on. He should be happy the relationship didn’t went any further i.e. marriage as it would’ve been even more painful.
As for Shirley I just hope TVB put her in the freezer forever. Dpon’t ever want to see her act again.

I agree and I am also glad that Gregory has moved on… He needs to since life is short and she has moved on so why shouldn’t he?? it is just a matter of time.
I don’t mind seeing Shirley act again, but don’t care if she does or not… I think she has to unless she has other things she can do to make a living. OTherwise, she needs to since that Andy guy is not rich or anything so how can she raise her child??

He should move on. If he still can’t move on, honesty, I’ll think he is acting. Shirley cleared the line between them and it is too enough for him to wake up. Not now but long ago.
Fox, I disagree with you. 9 years is a very long time, specially if your in love with someone, it’s not that easy to completely get over someone you truly loved. Maybe you’ve never experienced that kind of love?

Whining is just a part of moving on and sharing out the hurt feeling because he needs to release out the sadness. Anyway, it’s good to know that Gregory has moved on now.
Whinning is ok until it gets too much.
It is easy for others who doesn’t feel the pain to say move on but when one really involves in such incident especially being betrayed in this way, it’s not easy at all. It’s easier to say than done. Even a physical wound needs time to heal, moreover for a emotional feelings needs longer time. Who wants to not to move on if one can. Everyone would want to forget about the betrayal and hurts and wake up with a fresh beginning tomorrow but all these need time to get over it. When one has experienced this kind of hurt, then only one will really understand and will speak differently.

Indeed heartbreak is difficult to get over. But time will wash away the pain and hopefully one day, we look back and only remember the good portions while looking forward to better things in life.
However painful a break up in a multi-year relationship feels, I think it is still better to find out that two people are not meant for each other before they get married.
By the time two people are married, they made commitments to grow old together through old age and sickness, and build those expectations to have and hold each other in old age. Divorce at that time would be even worse, as the couple’s lives would be even more entwined.
I agree that no matter how many years a couple has dated, once they break up, it is hard. However, time will heal the pain and you will have to move on sometimes.If you don’t, then you can never be happy if you just bury yourself in the pain and unhappiness of the past. I feel that we should only remember our happy past and if we do remember the bad past, it is only to learn from our mistakes so that we can move on, learn from them and not make those same mistakes again. Life is short so we should try to live it to the fullest while we can.. I think heartbreak will pass and the only pain that never really goes away is when you lose a loved one…

Augustine Lee had noted that Shirley did not contribute to the living expenses of the Lee family while she living with them. Shirley however claimed that she had paid for the $10,000 HKD (?) renovation cost for a leaky ceiling.
Suffice to say that Lee family was not living off Shirley’s money.
With HK standard living 10k even in USD still not much. 10k in HKD = fun.
Jayne, I’m not familiar with the Lee family situation but is Augustine actually working? Shirley was the predominately bread provider with numerous TVB roles and promotion. I wouldn’t believe everything Augustine says as they guy is way too vocal. The relationship break up was between his brother and Shirley but the way Augustine carried crying and being so loud, it was like he was the one on the receiving end of being dumped. The guy is totally weird.

Earning more doesn’t mean that she will contribute for the majority of the expenses. According to Shirley, she paid for a ceiling renovation and some groceries. She also said that Gregory worked multiple jobs to pay for his family’s living expenses.
