Wong Cho Lam Purchases New Home for Sister
Achieving great success in Mainland China, Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) has been extremely active in the real estate market. The 36-year-old actor purchased two homes earlier for his wife, Leanne Li (李亞男), and for his mother. He again purchased another 700-square-feet home, valued at approximately $8.8 million HKD. The home was revealed to be purchased for his younger sister. All three homes are within the same residential complex, which allows the family to conveniently gather together.
Although many initially believed that Leanne was “settling” for Wong Cho Lam due to the couple’s mismatching appearance, Cho Lam has shown that looks alone does not define a man. The unconventional 5-feet-4-inch actor, television host, composer, lyricist, stage director, and scriptwriter works hard to provide for his family. His dedication and attentiveness to care for his family is indisputable.
Wong Cho Lam shared, “I know that paying mortgage and purchasing homes in Hong Kong right now is very difficult. If I have the ability to, I want to help my sister a little, but everyone still has to bear their own responsibilities. She has to pay mortgage!” When asked whether he paid $8.8 million HKD for his sister’s new home, Wong Cho Lam explained, “Actually, we sold our old house, and I just supplemented a little. We are just switching one home for another!”
On his aggressive home purchases, Cho Lam explained, “In case anything happens to me, they will all at least have a place to call home and have a roof over their heads!”

These women are very fortunate to have WCL in their lives. It is a fact that at the end of the day, no matter how big or small, it is a blessing to have a roof over your head, especially one that is your own roof.
