Yang Mi’s Friendships in Shambles After Her Marriage?
Actress Yang Mi (楊冪) may be basking in marital bliss after tying the knot with actor Hawick Lau (劉愷威) in a lavish wedding ceremony on January 8, but rumors have since sprung up that her friendships with various female friends in the entertainment industry have fallen to pieces.
In order to maintain a low-key atmosphere for their wedding ceremony, Yang Mi and Hawick elected to invite only one friend from the entertainment industry, namely actress Tiffany Tang (唐嫣), who also served as the Maid of Honor. The couple made sure to deliver wedding sweets to their other show biz friends, to show appreciation for their support.
However, netizens noticed that many of Yang Mi’s alleged close friends were slow to congratulate the bride on Sina Weibo. For example, actress Jacqueline Li (李小璐) did not post a congratulatory message until the day after the wedding, claiming that she was “busy taking care of [her] child and tidying [her] luggage the entire day.” Many of Yang Mi’s fans accused her of being insincere.
Yang Mi and Jacqueline were previously noted for being part of a seven-member clan called the Teddy Family. The group consists of actresses who are of similar age, own toy poodles, have similar hobbies, and help each other out in the industry. The other members include Huo Siyan (霍思燕), Xiong Naijin (熊乃瑾), Gan Wei (甘薇), and Xiao Yuyu (肖雨雨).
Nevertheless, the Teddy Family seems to have experienced a fracture now that some of the members are moving into married life. Not only were none of them invited to Yang Mi’s wedding, Yang Mi was absent at both Jacqueline’s wedding and Huo Siyan’s engagement party. Moreover, Yang Mi was not included when several of the members created a studio together.
Since only Jacqueline and Gan Wei offered their congratulations to Yang Mi online, netizens are pointing this out as proof that Yang Mi and her Teddy Family friends have drifted away from one another, leaving Tiffany Tang as the newlywed’s lone bosom friend.

I think I only recognize 3 of 7 and Yang Mi by far is the most popular of the bunch.
So I assume, actresses such as Liu Yi Fei and Liu Shi Shi do not have toy poodles, similar hobbies, and help each other out in the industry. LOL.
