Yang Yang, Dilraba Dilmurat Rumored to Be in New Drama “You Are My Glory”

Industry sources are saying that actors Yang Yang (杨洋) and Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) will be the stars of an upcoming TV adaptation of You Are My Glory <你是我的光耀>, a romance novel written by Gu Man (顾漫).

You Are My Glory follows the love story between Qiao Jingjing, a popular celebrity, and aerospace engineer Yu Tu, her high school classmate who had rejected her.

Some of Gu Man’s more famous novels include Silent Separation <何以笙箫默> and Just One Smile is Alluring <微微一笑很倾城>, both which were respectively adapted into popular TV dramas My Sunshine in 2015 and Love O2O in 2016.

Reports of adapting You Are My Glory into a TV drama have been ongoing for the past year. The Untamed <陈情令> star Xiao Zhan (肖战) was first rumored to star, followed by Guardian <镇魂> star Zhu Yilong (朱一龙).

While Yang Yang and Dilraba’s casting is not confirmed by any parties, their rumored collaboration are exciting fans of the artistes and the books alike. Should the rumor be true, You Are My Glory will be Yang Yang and Dilraba’s first collaboration. As two of the nation’s most popular actors, their alleged collaboration is expected to be record-breaking.
